Dreaming of WILD
Well, this was a strange one! I was dreaming non-lucidly that I was attempting a WILD. The HI was firming up, I was feeling the vibrations start....
Then the phone rang, woke me up! Bugger, I was wanting to see where this strange experience was leading!

You should get revenge on your phone. Put a bomb in it that's triggered when it rings.

I had a similar experience: I woke from an LD to find that my body was paralysed and I was experiencing violent shakes - I tried to raise my arm up, but couldn't. I'm sure it was a dream, because I then proceeded to have an OBE and when I was up above my bed with my girlfriend lying exactly where I'd expect her to be I noticed something unusual: the room was twice as large as it is! :chuckle: I remember finding it funny and I think I went into another LD scene.
I could, however, have woken up, experienced the shakes and SP, and then drifted into an LD (can someone WILD during sleep??)

I had a dream where I suddenly decided to try and WILD. But guess what! It still didn't work! Oh well. Nothing is perfect.

back when
When i had insomnia to an extreme i've never experienced before, i would struggle to stay awake in class (because i'm a good student:-D) and i would focus on something. A couple times i began to feel the shakes of WILD and when i closed my eyes i would immediately begin to see my teacher walking around the room throwing things.
I would usually wake up before i really started to have a REAL dream (opposed to dosing off a little) but a couple times i started to LD right in class. I'd get really pissed off at myself and run into a wall to wake myself up so i could keep copying notes. One time i woke up so quick that i fell out of my desk and everyone laughed.
Has anyone else done this? accidental WILD, or what would it be called?

I'd say that just about sums it up. "AWILD" could be a new term, but I don't think it'd make the official list.
