Two lucid dreams, I think I had o.o

I have been inactive in the Lucid Dreaming department for a while actually :oops:
School started and I've put off trying for a while. But two nights ago, I think I had my first lucid dream (that I can remember at least a bit).
I'm wondering if it was a lucid dream though.
I definitely remember;
Telling myself (not asking myself, which was a bit strange) that I was in a lucid dream.
I saw my brother in the dream, and I tried to make him leave the room I was in, as some sort of dream influence. It kinda worked...:P

I'm wondering if it was because I feel that I wasn't very conscious or controlling of the dream. Is that how it usually is? It was more like, I was aware of the dream, and not really in control of my actions like in a regular dream.

The next night, last night, when I woke up I felt that I had a really long and cool lucid dream. But I can't remember it :(
I guess I have to work on dream recall too.

If you know that you are dreaming while you are dreaming then you had a lucid dream. It's really is simple as that.

mm, I don't think that they were lucids.
the first case means nothing, to be lucid you must be aware.
you say it felt like a regular dream, then I'm sure it wasn't a lucid dream.
the second one....mmm...if you can't remember if you have a lucid dream, then you haven't a lucid dream. at least you didn't recall it in the middle of the night or you have a great memory problem.
Lucid Dreams can't be forget easily.
