Monopoly houses and empty curtains

It started out that I was working in a daycare in the city I used to live in. There was a little girl there who was known for being a brat and the other employees said that I needed to take her home. I didn't mind because she was generally pretty good for me. We were walking out of the building down a long hallway towards a parking garage. There was woman walking ahead of us to show the way. It was dark outside and there were big plate-glass windows lining the hall. I think we were on a pretty high floor. I happened to glance at my reflection in the glass and I noticed it was all distorted, and I said 'Hey, I'm dreaming!!' I said 'See ya!' to the woman and I went face first through the window. (first time I've ever passed through a wall or window). I flew up over the city. The sky was clear and there were lots of stars. I started to get higher and higher without really being able to control it. The city looked beautiful. I could see all the lights from the buildings and the bridges. Eventually I got so high that it almost looked like a satellite photo.
I decided that I wanted to come down and go to the house of a former boyfriend and see what he was up to. I descended too fast, however, and I don't think my brain could keep up. I skimmed across the water on my stomach and when I hit land it sort of morphed into a flat area with a bunch of teeny Monopoly hotels instead of houses. I slid into them and knocked them all over.
Somehow I managed to squeeze my eyes shut and open them again and I ended up on the street close to the former boyfriend's house. I rubbed my hands together and said 'STAY LUCID!' several times, and then I started noticing the details of the scene around me. It was night but there was a streetlight illuminating the park where I was standing, and it was reflecting off various flowers and leaves on the trees. Quite beautiful.
I tried to fly again but kept jumping and couldn't get off the ground, so I decided to just walk in superspeed to the house. I got there and for some reason I believed that nobody could see me..it was almost like I thought I was an astral body or something. I went to the door of the house and could see in through a storm door. The old boyfriend was doing some kind of house renovation, standing on a ladder and messing around with tools or something. His new girlfriend came in and she looked familiar. She had some kind of ID sticking out of her purse and I saw her name. I decided to fuck with them since they couldn't see me, so I started unlatching the door and the windows and pushing them open. He'd come over and relatch them and get pissed off.
A blond woman suddenly appeared at the door and asked me what I was doing there. I told her that she wasn't supposed to be able to see me. She said 'I can see all the dreamers, I'm in charge of them'. Then she called behind her and a group of girls came out. They were all 'dreamers'. Some of them looked like cartoon characters and some of them looked normal. They all seemed to be a bit younger than me. They came out the door and started running around the city, raising hell. I followed and had a bit of trouble flying again, eventually I managed to grab the top of a fence and sort of push myself up, after which I was levitated and then flying again without a problem. Suddenly a small male elf appeared. That's the word that came to mind, anyway. He was short and bald and had strange ears and reddish-black skin. He said 'Dylan's in trouble!' and one of the 'dreamers' said 'She felt his empty curtains.' (???) So they were all then on a mission to 'save Dylan'. I got bored however and didn't really feel like doing it, and the dream faded.
I was next back in my childhood home, in the backyard. It was morning and I noticed that the grass was very green and wet with dew. I was barefoot and I wiggled my toes and started walking through the dewy grass, relishing how good it felt. Then the phone woke me up.
