stupid way to miss a LD

I was napping and starting to have an LD after such a long time (about 6 months). I completely blew it in the most stupid way.

I was driving my car going out of town, when I suddenly feel my body coming out of my body. I pull over and think its strange, I have two imaginary arms coming out over my real arms. They are acting on their own but I'm not scared or anything. I'm thinking, I can't drive with the extra arms...

so I grab the arm with my normal arm and push it back inside my body(!), then do the same with the other one. Look at the clock, it says 13:30. And I think, shit my clock is broken, because it's night outside (!). Then I call a friend and we have a 5 minute conversation, and wake up remembering everything completely vividly...

I can't believe how I missed that. I pushed my dream self back in my body... has anything so stupid happened to anyone else?

Happens to me every once in a while... Drives me crazy.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yes, silly things like this happen all the time. Not as weird as that but they happen and we just except them as if they are part of reality. I guess out minds like to play tricks on us.
