Ahhh Frustration!!!!!
Hi everyone,
Well my Ld experiences are comin along nicely. I've had 2 in the last 10 days!! Yay!!
However, i'm such a worrier - lol! In my last lucid i was shouting for my friend to appear (which didnt work) but all i was thinking is how real it seemed and how clear my voice was and wot if i was actually shouting this name from my bed!! I know this isnt likely to happen but i was still worrying, esp as it was a fellas name i was shouting and my mum and dad were in
Had a nice long lye in this mornin and had my usual false awakening (they are the only way i can get lucid) but each time i realised i was dreaming i just had no control, i was trapped under the covers! :? And i kept saying increase lucidity and tring to blast my covers away but i was well and truely stuck and when i finially managed to move an arm or somat i'd wake up and realise i was dreamin again. I got as far as the stairs one time but again i woke up (in another dream) and had to start again!!! Happened about 10 times and i never made it out of the house!! On the more positive side i am recognising the fact that i am dreaming when i have a false awakening!! I seem to automatically look at my hands or my clock and it works everytime!!!
Dont u just love stayin in bed alllll morning!!! :-P

Hello, welcome to the Dreaming Group! Nice to see so many fellow Brit’s on this site, word must get around in dreams :-P (lol).
2 lucid dreams in 10 days is amazing, how long you been able to lucid dream for? False awakenings are perfect for lucidity!
It sounds like you’ve had an OBE from how you describe above, I’m not really clued up on OBE's, maybe someone can differentiate for you!

Hey Mystical Journey,
I first visited this site a couple of months ago and started doin reality checks right away!! took about 5 weeks to have my 1st LD. I keep a dream journal and i'm amazed at how my dream recall has improved and how vivid my normal dreams are now! B4 i started takin notice of my dreams it seemed that the characters in my dreams were kinda blurrey and i never took much notice of them but now they seem so significant and i remember so much detail about them, i'm pretty blown away by it all really!! Seem to be sleeping a hell of alot since i've started lookin into all this tho - sleeping for Britain at the minute ;)

HAHA
I have that false awakening marathon alot too. With the lucidity as well! I even had one where I was paralysed as well, but FINALLY managed to hover above the bed and onto the floor, but remaining in the lying position.
So I know how you feel.
Glad the reality checks are working for ya! Pretty soon you'll be able to summon your "Mr. Friend" with a cell phone or something, rather than wake the whole house by screaming some dude's name from your bed lol.
