stupidest ways you HAVE become lucid!

There is a topic on here about stupidest way's you've missed becoming lucid, so I thought I'd make a topic on the stupidest ways you've attained lucidity. I know this topic exists, but the last post was 4 years ago, so I decided not to resurrect it.

The other night I was dreaming normally, and I had bought some gum and a pair of scissors from walgreens. I was walking through a big park carrying the scissors in my hand and there were some people playing soccer on a field about 100 yards from me. I thought to myself If I toss these scissors as high into the air as I can and it hits on of the soccer players, I'm dreaming, because there's no way I can throw that far and even if I could, chances are I probably wouldn't hit anything Well I chucked the scissors into the sky and they came down and stabbed one of the soccer players in the chest and he was knocked down. I then realized I was dreaming, but I wasn't completely lucid because people started looking at my and I flew off before the cops came and arrested me for assault.

The stupidest way I have become lucid was when I was hoovering the living room rug whilst dusting above the fireplace. The idea of cleaning was so alien to me that I realised it had to be a dream! :laughhard:

This was my first LD since I joined the website, I was out in the field holding my cat, and all of the sudden I saw a yeti chasing me. That darned thing chased me for SO LONG before I realized that yetis don't live around here (not to mention they aren't real... or are they?) I ended up getting inside the house before I realized that I was dreaming!

My family (in the dream) made a little chocolate drink and told me that if I drank it, and go to sleep, I would become lucid immediately. Well, I drank it, felt really tired walked up to my dream bed, and "fell asleep" and I was lucid!

Not sure if my story fits in here that good. Here it is anyway, I was having a regular dream. I'm not sure what made me question the dream, but I looked at my hand and counted the fingers. I counted 7, what was funny about this, is that I still wasn't 100% sure I was dreaming, so instead of realizing your suppose to have only 5 fingers, I looked at the clock. There is no clock in my house where this clock was located in my dream. However once I saw the numbers on it (00,12,12,00 repeating) it was only THEN I realized I was dreaming, and not when I counted 7 fingers. lol

StupidIST way?! Every way is just super random. All are stupid to me. Oh this is a dream...that's what always happens. Nothing else, really.

getting talked to by a pelican, after being chased by a man who could turn into a Dog. The pelican noticed my lucidity, and told me that i couldn't leave until I killed the dog man, so I sent birds to eat him. Pretty epic lucid, actually.

I was in my gym at my school, and it just happened. Not really stupid, but it was very random.

After having a dream involving being forced to "walk the plank" off the top of First Canadian Place as a punishment for talking in class, and became lucid because the font on the logo at the top was wrong. :cheeky:

This last night, I got lucid because I ate some mushrooms then drove to my friends house. They kicked in while I was driving. What caused me to gain lucidity was the fact that psilocybin usually takes an hour to kick in, and only a few minutes had passed.

Bit more random than stupid really.

Anyways, had a nice 30 second LD were I turned my car into a bike, and I flew my bike around like in ET. :)

I woke up, went downstairs and found out I never woke up - I was still in a dream. I woke up, and I was STILL in a dream. Dream inside a dream inside a dream, much? Oh ya, it was lucid.

I think the stupidest for me was when i went to my parents' bathroom and my mom was in there cleaning up. I was already suspicious that i was dreaming, but i decided to ask her if i was dreaming. She said, "no." When she turned around, there was a blue post-it note on the back of her head that said, "You are dreaming." :lol: I instantly became lucid.

I would say that's pretty brilliant actually, not stupid :p.

I recently had a dream where I was feeling really, really happy and like jumping around. I was jumping on the couch and then on the bed, and then finally I was jumping around the balcony.

I suddenly thought to myself that I can't be that happy IRL, since I'm pretty much upset lately so I figured it must be a dream. I then made my way into the kitchen to prepare waffles with cream and chocolate because I really wanted to eat something sweet for some reason.

lmfao that is epic.

I was in my high school, apparently a train station, and ran into some old friends that recently moved out of the country. I asked them, "What are you doing here? Didn't you move?" and they said "no". I believed them. A bit later I found them in another spot and told them, "You wouldn't believe the dream I had about you just seconds ago! I dreamt that you never moved away!" They gave me weird looks, and one of them said "Would you calm down? You're not dreaming," to which I replied, "Yes I am! I AM dreaming!! ... oh, I'm dreaming. Cool."

Brilliant in a stupid way? XD

I found myself telling a woman she was right. Suffice to say it gave me reason to RC.

I've only had one LD and in it I just realized I'm dreaming :P

This isn't a STUPID reason I became lucid, but an awesome reason. Quote from yesturday morning's dream.

I was in a grocery store, eatin some of the merchandise previously in the dream.

I was dreaming that I was hacking into my school and I saw the teachers coming and I knew I was busted. So I decided to punch the fat teacher and she went FLYING. I decided to beat the rest of them up =)

There was this one time where I was just walking through my living room and I saw an eletric cord that was moving like a snake, and I thought 'Well, that's just stupid' and became lucid, but I couldn't move after that, don't really know why, and I felt like I was falling backwards and woke up. Pretty weird, I think.

well one night i had some HI about my cat slamming his head into my face. That pretty much made me lucid. Afterwards i broke his legs and told him if he was nice he could have them back.This one happened when i was trying to wild but fell asleep in the process but thanks to the cat it all worked out well.

My dad was strangling me, but that didn't make me get Lucid. Instead I did a random RC!
