My Experience With A T-Break (cannabis)
If you smoke cannabis, which I do with my doctors recommendation, then you know if you smoke on a daily basis you will develop a tolerance and it's effects will not be as effective. So I decided to take a Tolerance Break form the cannabis again. The first time I stopped smoking (i'm a heavy daily user, 3-6 bowls of fine grade a day) I had my FIRST lucid dream.
Now, I thought hmmm... maybe a lucky coincidence! Well I started back up and had my SECOND lucid dream after a WBTB, which I smoked a bowl right before I went to sleep. This lucid dream was... fun! But was VERY VERY SHORT. Maybe it was becauase it was my second but my first was a little bit longer and more VIVID.
Anyways, this is now my 5th lucid dream. What I decided to do was take another tolerance break because of what i've read over and over again. I've done about 20 hours of research over the past 2 days on the effects of taking a Tolerance Break. The interesting thing is I was on a stoner forum and 9/10 people were very excited becauase they knew that when they stopped smoking they would remember their dreams again. This was rather encouraging. I told my mind that if I took a nice little break I would most likely have another lucid dream.
The first night I had 2 of the most vivid dreams i've had in a great while. The second night of no smoking, which was last night, I had my 5th LD. This LD was the most exciting experience i've had. I really felt so much more there then before. I was in the dream a good 3-5 minutes, it may sound short to you guys but the feelings were beyond amazing.
To my point, I would just like to say that if you ARE a CHRONIC DAILY USER and are trying to LD, do yourself a favor and take a nice tolerance break and maybe you'll have another LD or at least remember your dreams more. I would also like to note again that I DID have my second lucid dream minutes after smoking cannabis so I don't think it is harmful to smoke some but you have to be moderate... like with everything.
I know some people here that smoke almost every day (form what i've read?) like Yoshi. It seems it doesn't really affect him LDing, I figure maybe it's because he's used to Lucid dreaming. I really wanted to share my experience and maybe give some hardcore stoners some tiny chance at accelerating their LDing. I know that I had many days where when I smoked before bed I would recall 0 dreams... which was way too disappointing.
Anyways, thanks for listening to my rambles, here's my 5th LD if you're interested.
"I was looking at this MASSIVE jumbo jet crash, it was about 100 feet from the ground. It was making a noise a JET would make and that tripped me out. It crasehd literally 300-500 feet away, I was with someone and said something along the lines of, "wow".
After that happend the JET noise was still going off and I was wonder WTF so I looked at my hands to see if I was dreaming and had 3 fingers on my right hand!!! I was really happy I was lucid. The first thing I did was look around. The second I looked around it looked kinda blurry so I rubbed my hands and shouted CLARITY! It worked! Everything was 100% clear. I had pure lucidity. I then wanted to TOUCH something so I oculd FEEL it. I found a GRASS BLADED BUSH right next to me. I really wanted to feel the baldes of grass but all I could do is move them. At first I couldn't really even manipulate them but after about a second of trying the blades of grass moved with every hand gesture I made. After I was done having fun with that I decided to do what i've been wanting to do, Explore.
As i'm looking around I see a house that i'm next too, it felt like I was in the back yard. I saw an opening to the street and wanted to EXPLORE! I also asked myself if I wanted to fly but decided, again, to save it for a future LD so I could stay here longer, my goal was to stabalize my dream and keep myself lucid for as long as I could.
So i'm walking to the street and I see a car ont he left of me, I totally forgot about it when I think to myself, "Wow, I want to smoke in my dream!" So I fumble in myback pocket, I feel a few things but can't find my pipe! I see a JOINT, a MASSIVE joint floating in the air. I grab it and am so happy! I'm about to smoke right when I see two dream characters. They look like nasty fucking gross ass dirty rednecks with shottys. I think they had bongs in their hands lol. THe last thing I remember is me or someone else being tied to a wooden table and I woke up.
I woke up instantly remembering what happened and tried to fall back to sleep but I was sleeping on my RIGHT SIDE with my hand at a fucked up position which caused me to move. Best lucid EVER! (and cool dream)
