Nope. I fall for the false-awakening every time. |

I had a DILD last night that actually was pretty cool. Then, as the dream ended I found myself back in my bed. I was going to attempt DEILD but realized I didn't have to, because I was in the wrong bed! I didn't have an epiphany like you normally do in a DILD, but I realized it right on the spot. So I got up and did my stuff. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Believe in your strengths, believe.
That's too bad. Hope you catch one eventually. |

Yeah, I have a lot of False Awakening DEILDS. It got to the point where I reality checked whenever I woke up. This does two things. |
|
I had so many false awakenings last night that I just started immediately recognizing them and just rolled out of bed if I couldn't move and restarted the dream. If my eyes were stuck closed I tried to open them but noticed I was seeing my dream and real life at the same time so I stopped trying to open them and just forgot they were closed after that. That happened twice in the same R.E.M. stage. |

some false awakenings are so freaking awesome to explore, its like exploring a alternate reality! i too woken up in different beds! sometimes theres people i dont know in it with me!!!! lol |

Hahahahaaha Lol This stuff happens to me all the time. One moment I am peacefully killing up some monsters and the other, BAM! I'm back in my bed. |

It's interesting to read about everyone's experiences with FAs. I agree that it's a good idea to RC every time you wake up, even briefly. |

Just this morning I have reconfirmed to myself that I need to start reality checking every time I wake up. I had maybe 5 or 6 FA's while trying to WILD this morning and only caught 1 of them, which I woke up from immediately. All of my successful WILDs and DEILDs so far have started with an FA and have FAs sprinkled throughout without losing awareness. |
