Last night i got off the computer early to do some meditation after a shower.
Sat in bed against a wall and just done some void meditation. I wasn't sitting particularly straight and noticed that my head kept on getting pulled back as if by a string into an up straight position. I thought this was very interesting.

This has happened to me so many times! even when im laying down meditating my head feels like its falling to the side. Even when I know its not.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Not to the side, straight up, and it was actually being pulled back; not just a feeling :3

Done some meditation.. i think you would call it 'combined' meditation. Cleared my mind before even sitting down (i think i saw a thread about this a while ago, day to day meditation without having to sit down, just a state of mind, really?). When i sat down and got comfortable, i noticed that the area around my third eye throbbed, as if there was something pushing outwards from the inside, so i concentrated on that spot. I let energy flow in and out of my third eye at the same time. I continued this for 5 minutes while absorbing energy to make a sort of 'crystal' on that spot. The spot felt very very tingly.
Before school started, my third eye would tingle all the time, since then, i haven't really felt much. I think i should meditate focused on that spot more.

EDIT: "What meditation means to me"
I have a state of mind which is usually quiet, just observing what i see with my waking body. Absorbing and taking in. This is why i find void meditation easy. Meditation is a 'special time' (no, you dirty bastard) for me to just forget about any worries and enjoy the peace of silence. In the past, i have tried to use visualisation meditation to find my Spirit Guide, but it simply hasn't happened. I haven't had much results with vMed. Maybe in the future~?

Thanks for creating your meditation workbook fOrceez! Sorry I haven't replied until now, I've just been really bogged down with stuff recently. I'm afraid I haven't really looked into visualisation meditation at all, so I can't comment on that. If I remember rightly, you said in IRC that you have trouble with (I think) focal meditation (though it could have been Dark_Merlin). I hope that your knowledge will build from last semester in my revised focal meditation lesson

It'd been a while since i'd done any meditation, probably 2 or 3 weeks? I had a couple attempts at WILD but then realized my usual way of getting into SP (void meditation) wasn't working, i couldn't quiet the mind. I sat down on a big hard pillow with my back against the wall and just breathed for probably 20 seconds. Once my thoughts started to slow down, I closed my eyes and just listened to my breathing. After a few minutes of doing focal meditation on my breathing, i switched to void meditation. Shit- it was really hard at first, i had a lot of stray thoughts coming into my mind. Eventually, i had total peace and quiet in my head. My god, i'm glad i sat down to do some meditation.
I think i've been too caught up in reality the past few weeks and it's been stopping me from lucid dreaming. Hopefully all is well again.

I haven't updated my meditation booklet in a while, but I've still been doing short meditation sessions! Some of these are brief like a few minutes with my eyes close in the car, on my way to school with light piano music playing from my iPod and just void meditating. Sometimes it's without any music and focal meditation on my breathing. And I still meditate to fall asleep as well. Does wonders for my recall
