My mom and I were walking up a culdisac in a neighborhood that looked like it is in the middle of being developed. Only some houses were there with fresh dirt where the lawns would be. It was a cool morning with some fog. I was about 13 at the time. As we walked I looked to my right and noticed a little girl walking happily down the opposite end of the culdisac. My heart started pounding as I looked behind her to see a wolf following just a few feet back, totally focussed on her. She seemed completely clueless of his existence as she walked on. I felt afraid for her safety so I called the wolf to divert his attention. The girl didn't seem to hear me but the wolf turned and looked right at me. Instantly he starts walking towards me, cutting across the road. For some reason I began to walk towards him though I was scared beyond words. I started to seriously wonder what I had just gotten myself into. As I made my way toward the middle of the road my mother kept walking as if she hadn't even noticed my absence. As the wolf drew close I saw into his piercing yellow eyes and felt completely vulnerable. I couldn't take my eyes off of his and once we were no more than 2 feet apart I knelt down and faced him completely (still scared out of my mind). We looked into each others eyes until the dream ended.

I only had this dream one time and I don't think I've dreamed about wolves ever since. The weird part is that I didn't know what color a wolf's eyes were until sometime after I had this dream. I was telling the story to a friend and when I mentioned the eyes he was like "yeah...wolves eyes are supposed to be yellow..." At first I was slightly disappointed because I expected it to be some kind of freak wolf with crazy eyes. Now it seems even more "freaky" that I saw the color before knowing it. Although, from what I have heard wolves make a habit of those kinds of appearances in dreams.
