Fun fact: anticholinergics actually increase levels of acetylcholine in the brain, by blocking the inhibitory M2 and M4 autoreceptors, which act as flood control (i.e., activating them lowers acetylcholine levels). Since deliriants are also blocking all of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors, that means that free acetylcholine is activating the open nicotonic acetylcholine receptors... just like nicotine (obviously). So yes, it's legitimately addictive. It's a tough habit to break... but believe me, if you do, if you'll be glad you did.
