    Lucid | Non-Lucid

Second DJ entry and I'm already questioning my sanity (mostly laughing at the dream)

I was walking past a swing set in my neighbor's yard when I got slammed in the head by one of the swings. I think I've had this dream before because I knew that nobody had swung it at me. I walked over and started kicking the swing when it lifted up, it's chains flexing like muscles, making me lose my balance and fall on my back. My foot is still on the swing so I pull my self up and grab on to it. The swing started swinging around violently and threw me into a tree-trunk. It picked me up and threw me like a catapult into the ground. I am furious at the swing and start yelling at it, asking it why is it always hitting me? What did I ever do to you? It starts to get away but I catch it in a strangle-hold. All of a sudden it goes limp and I see one of my friends walking toward me with a puzzled look in his face. This is understandable since he just saw me trying to strangle a piece of plastic. I yell at the swing "Oh fine, you give up NOW?!?" This thing is taunting me, making me look like a lunatic. I tell my friend that the swing set was just attacking me and that it wouldn't now because it is cowardly, old and raggedy and isn't worth keeping. Apparently I baited it enough that it started attacking me with my friend watching. I yelled with triumph and woke up laughing.

This is the actual swing set/playground

    Lucid | Non-Lucid

    Dream 1:

I was driving in a Saturn VUE along in a neighborhood that doesn't exist in real life, the roads are shaped in a way that you could easily go 90mph (144kph). The speed limit keeps changing so I have no idea what it really is, but it was low, around 20mph(30kph). I remember I turned too tightly and the wheels were blown out, but they automatically re-inflated themselves. Something happened that caused me to take out some . . . tarp thing. No idea what it was or what purpose it served, so naturally I took it home with me but on the way its tire kept popping and re-inflating. I wheeled it all the way home where my Dad and my brother's fiancee were weeding the garden, that's when I realized the Saturn VUE I was driving followed me home and now there were two identical VUEs, one in the garage and the one I drove. My Dad was about to ask a question and I said, just don't think about it. He was like "well . . . ok" then went back to gardening.

    Dream 2:

My brother and I were walking around a neighborhood that was a memorial of WWII, it had grand architecture and was made of near-golden bricks. It was very pretty and classical music was playing throughout the neighborhood. It didn't seem like anyone lived there, all the houses had no lights, there were no cars or trash cans on the driveways. It was like a mausoleum. Kinda creepy, but it was sunny out and there were birds and trees so it was peaceful too. No reason to worry. John Zaffis from Haunted Collector was there giving us a tour, I knew this would be bad. We went into one of the houses and it looked exactly the way I thought it would look. Like a Crypt.

He started talking about what ghosts can do to you and I imagined I saw every piece of weird paranormal activity I have ever seen on the show (which is like 2 and a half episodes, I don't believe in ghosts, they are kinda boring, not really scary). I saw people's faces being translucent, civil war bullets floating toward me, the lights exploding, the works. Normally I'd start laughing at the ridiculousness of it, but with my logic shut down and my brain overflowing with Id, I sprinted out of there as fast as possible, I tripped, couldn't move. The bullets were flying toward me and the ghost hovered over me. I thought that it reminded me of Dementors and then 4 Dementors came in and gave me the kiss of death.
BOOM I'm awake and still feeling sleep paralysis, I can imagine why people think that a ghost is sucking the soul out of them since its kinda like a weight on your chest. Half a second later its gone.

Its about 3 in the morning so I thought I might attempt a WILD since I'm already up. I get almost there but head into HH mode and hear a ghost-like groan and I'm immediately back awake. Apparently I succeeded the second time because I am lucid right from the start.

    Dream 3:

I'm back at my driveway, both Saturn VUEs are still there, but it's night and there is a cooler sitting on the front porch. It is filled with strawberry and orange popsicles and many different fruity Jelly-Beans. I thought that it would be nice if my girlfriend came over, and she walked out of my house a few seconds later holding something she drew (she's an amazing artist). I gave her one of the popsicles and a big smile came up on her face. We went inside and we ate popscicles for dinner and watched Eureka. It was short lived but still one of the best dreams I've had and it was awesome to be able to passively control it (I was really in the mood for a popscicle, its been 105 degrees Farenheight ,40.5 degrees celcius, and near 100% humidity).
