We'll stagger home after midnight, sleep arm-in-arm in the stairwell. We'll fall apart on the weekend, these nights go on and on and on... And all these demons... They keep me up all night

    David (Sept. 22nd-23rd)

by ForgetTheNight on 09-24-2011 at 06:26 PM
I was walking through a city, designed much like the one in the game 'Bully'. I was my astral persona, a thinner version of myself, and had been searching for a guy from my IB Math Studies class last year. He had committed a crime, and was going to turn himself in. David was scared-I had found him once and he took off running, saying he didn't have a choice and just had to accept it.

I ran after him, running through the streets which were void of any other people. It was only the two of us in the entire city. I turned a corner, and found him walking towards the police station in a large courtyard, with only one break in the buildings as an entrance. I ran up to him, and he stopped walking, looking down at me. I kind of shrugged, saying I just wanted to hug him, to tell him things would be okay. He was crying, though trying not to show it, and hugged me tightly. I told him it would be okay, and he said, "I only wish this were my girlfriend instead," meaning her instead of me. I told him to just close his eyes and imagine it was her instead of me. When we pulled apart, I awoke.

I had visited my math teacher from high school on the 22nd, and she told me that David was on homecoming court, and currently suspended for 10 days for getting into it on the soccer field with a ref. He and the ref had previous issues, and the man wasn't supposed to even work a game David was playing in. He was quiet in class, a nice guy who sat across the room. Very, very attractive, and a soccer goalie on our varsity team. I barely spoke to him, but my math teacher was supposed to write something praising him, since he was on homecoming court, and couldn't think of anything that wouldn't contradict with the whole suspended-for-10-days thing.
