The Lucid Dreamer

The dream was in this warped field, it was a hill in a field with a forest off to the right, I was in a group of people storming up the hill that had floating pieces around it, I was aware I was in a dream, I could jump onto the floating pieces, I thought I was going to fall off the cliff of the hill but realized I could float down or stop right before hitting the ground, it looked a lot steeper than I originally thought.

I ended up down the hill and into this market place that had a parking lot. I was aware again that I was dreaming, I was running in the parking lot when it seemed like the dream would crash, I started rubbing my hands together to feel the friction. I decided I wanted to do something cool so I decided I was going to try to shoot fire out of my hands, I held up my right hand and pointed it in the air, nothing was happening, I turned my right hand into finger guns and it looked like sparks of fire started to shoot out. I looked at the ground to see an animal, I think it was a duck or a fox and I was trying to change it into something else but it was shifting into a blob of animal that I did not recognize.

The dream had begun around my mother's old house. We were walking on her street. I was next to the mailbox when I started to realize this was a dream. Everything became so vivid. I wasn't in control but I had the thought that it was a dream. The sky above was a beautiful light blue with the sun shining onto the clouds that made them a light orange. I walked up the street amazed at how vivid everything was. At the top of the street I got a better view of the sky and was in awe. I thought 'this couldn't be a dream, it seems so real.' I was so confused by how real everything seemed, I couldn't tell it was a dream. I turned left and walked down the street. I passed a dream character who acknowledged me, it felt like I was the main character in a movie and people were doing finger guns as they passed me. I walked up the hill and the same dream character I walked by would appear again and again each time I looked at them while they passed. We stopped by an old neighbors house and the same dream character was laying on a chair sunbathing.

The scene was generally taking place at jmu or atlee, there was a theater play about to go on in the near future. My vision was flying through the jungle looking at a hill. It shifted and I was now walking inside the building, a guy from my high school was talking to another girl, there was a parade of 1 by 1 people from the theater walking around the building and an audience on the sides. I kept thinking liz would be a major part in the play and would be in the parade, I was expecting her. At some point she was there but I was acting like I was paying attention to something else.

The dream was also generally at jmu, going to food locations, going to class, going back to the complex or cramped dorm system.

Had several false awakenings where I thought I was getting up early to get work done early in the morning, checked my phone and thought it was 8am but then woke up IRL later than that.

Dream was at the KC pool in the basketball/volleyball area except the slope down to the playground was much bigger. In the parking lot was a city, it was either dusk or dawn. I thought I was in my new apartment but going into another part of the building I realized it was a bar, people from my high school were there. We were catching up, it felt like the bar was closing and it was time to go home or maybe to another class in the city, I went out and tried to get into my apartment but it was just the bar now.

Now I'm at my old apartment driving to a club or bar, I go in but I'm not dressed appropriately, I try to go to the shower but a random kid is about to go in and use it so I sigh and turn around. Eventually I end up back there and I'm in line, abb is there and we greet each other, the bouncer asks me for my ID and I get out my wallet.

Show choir dream where I'm in a movie theater, we're doing dance moves but I don't really know them so I'm watching someone else. It's really messy. Another team goes onto the front stage and I think they aren't doing very well, they're ripping off a movie but I can't remember which.

I was on JMU's campus in one of the parking decks, I got into my car and it went uncontrollably backwards and off the side of the second floor deck into a parking lot. A cop pulled up and thought I was drunk driving so he tests me, I'm over by .02, I freak out and beg him to test me again, he laughs and tests me again and I pass, we both cheer, I'm trying to high five him but I'm falling backwards and to the side but I manage to high five him.

I'm in the stadium now and there's a graduation or ceremony going on, I look behind me to see B, we make quick eye contact before turning away. My family is there too. At some point I think I'm on spongebob's 4d ride from King's Dominion but it has been massively gutted and it looks really broken down now. I'm in mario kart 64 on Mario's track at some point racing around. Then, I'm at some sort of market and it's night time, we're about to drive back home from JMU so I grab a few snacks and souvenirs from shops.
