Realizing a potential dream sign within a dream causes me to become lucid!

by JSAvalo on 04-27-2015 at 05:19 PM
I'm working at dish network again (a former employer), at a call center by the beach with an ocean logo painted on it. A friend of mine is my boss. During the dream I go elsewhere, then come back and can't find my way around the call center. I think: "This is an excellent dream sign: things look different the second time around. I need to remember that the next time I dream. Then I realize that I AM dreaming. I can't control things too much. I try to change a guy's face, but it barely changes. Then I start to fly. I feel myself waking up, but I prolong the dream by focusing on sensations on my fingertips that are a part of the dream. Eventually, I wake.

Never trust a dream for finances

by JSAvalo on 04-15-2015 at 05:17 PM
I'm driving to the bank with my toddler daughter (I don't have a daughter). I make the wrong turn, causing me to wind up somehow on the wing of a plane taking off. My daughter grows to a huge size, about twice the size of the car. I'm afraid that I'll fall off the plane, but then realize I'm dreaming, so I can't die. I do fall off after the plane has taken off. I'm sure I'll just wake up. Instead, my daughter grabs my car. She's floating down to the ground. Now she's so big the car fits in the palm of her hand. We land and I find myself and my daughter in the bank. She's still giant, for a toddler, but now just a couple inches taller than me. She announces that she needs to go to the bathroom. She goes unattended. The two tellers smile and tell me how cute she is. I ask for my bank balance. One of the tellers tells me. I ask several times for her to repeat, as I know the number's too low. Then I re-remember that I'm dreaming, so I tell myself that I can't rely on the dream for useful info. Then the dream fades. So no, I didn't do any cool LD stuff like flying, but I recognized I was dreaming, so I think that counts.

    meditation retreat

by JSAvalo on 04-09-2015 at 02:28 PM
My fiancee and I were at a meditation retreat. She developed amnesia and couldn't even remember her name. During one part of the dream I had to find the venue the retreat would be held. I saw that the room was on the other side of a courtyard. I decided that since I was dreaming, I could just fly there.

    Lucid and near-lucid dreams

by JSAvalo on 04-03-2015 at 05:52 AM
The past couple of nights I've had dreams that are lucid or near-lucid. On the first night I enter a bedroom with three figures in it. Two are women with raccoon tails having sex (yes, my dreams are often X-rated). I do a reality check by feeling a dresser in the room. It feels solid, so I think maybe it's not a dream. Then I focus on the third figure, who is a red/dark pink blob. I imagine it a woman. And it is so! I'm excited that I know I'm dreaming now. I have sex with her, transforming her body occasionally. Then I wake.

The next night I'm in a public space, like an airport or casino. A woman walks by me and I telepathically tell her to kiss me. She does so! So I must be dreaming, I think. But I can't get her to do anything else. So my reality check returns a false negative and I conclude that I'm not dreaming.

These two nights have my hopes up that this can be a regular thing.
