Sometimes the "black vision" or void can be an interesting place too, so don't rule it out. Ending up in the void when I'm trying to go somewhere still happens to me quite often. When I am there,...

Sure, have you ever tried dream incubation? You can use that to make your preferred dreams and scenes. If you saw something in a dream you liked, you can incubate that so you dream about it more. ...

I managed my 'first' (official, so far as I can remember?) DEILD after practicing on and off for the last two weeks. All I can say is that it was quite a bizzare, but worthwhile experience. :D I...

The problem with using alarms is that it shocks you awake. This causes you to become too aware and unable to slip back into the necessary state needed to DEILD. Some people have success with this...

Well just a little entry to tell you about my first LD.
This happened a few nights ago btw
Long story short, I looked at my cocker spaniel (Abby) and realised her colouring looked like a dalmatian instead of her normal black and tan colourings and that made me realise I was dreaming.
And then I realised I could LD because I was in a dream.
So the first thing I did was fly (I've always wanted to do this) I looked up and just pushed myself up (Had a position like Iron Man does) and I yelled "faster, faster!" and kept going up.
Then I came back down and did a handstand.
Then I imagined a guy as Johnny Depp so one of my "projections" (stole the term from inception hehe) crouched down and stood up and was Johnny Depp. I ran over to him and jumped on him and starting making out with him
Then I woke up.
Greatest. Dream. EVER!@
