LostOnTrains, your signature tripped me out! I saw it, read it as "Are you dreaming?" Then I looked away at something or other... looked back and did a triple take! Um, thanks for that?

    Lots of dreams

by LostOnTrains on 02-15-2011 at 05:38 PM
Ive been taking Silene Capensis for 3 days now. One of the things that I have read about it is that you should do whilst taking it is try to think of a question where you would like guidance in your life, and the answer will come to you in a dream.
Me being 27 and bumming round in jobs that I hate, my question to the dream-spirits has been "What should I do with my life?"...because i still have no idea!

Well, I think my dream recall is definitely improving. I seemed to have lots of dreams last night that were vivid. Was this due to the silene capensis? I am not sure. I wish I had wrote them down during the night, but they were vivid enough for me to think "I will definately remember this!" Except by now, I can only remember snippets:-

    Dream 1:
I am a rich and successful man. I am wearing a suit and I can buy pretty much anything I want in life. How got to be rich... either I can't remember or it was not explained.

    Dream 2:
On a submarine...? Or inside some kind of metal tank with other people. No idea what this was.... Just the tiniest fragment, but I know it was a long dream. I shoudl have wrote it down!

    Dream 3:
I am playing Fallout 3 whilst my girlfriend watches. She is unimpressed with the storyline. I describe to her how I love the way the civilisation is existing right on the cusp of life and death.

I am sure I had more dreams too, but i cannot recall them right now.

    Chinese food induces spiritual visions

by LostOnTrains on 02-13-2011 at 08:02 PM
For my tea last night I ate LOADS of chinese food. Much more than usual... I was feeling hungry
I felt fine after but all that greasy food must have had a bad reaction....

Anyway, I went to bed as usual that night and awoke midway through the night with the most terrible stomach ache, I thought I was going to be sick. I sat up in bed and my girlfriend said something to me (I asked her about it today and she said I just mumbled some incoherent reply)...
I was definately awake, but at the same time when I closed my eyes I saw a bizarre vision.

In my vision I was sitting encased in the centre of a mountain. My aching belly all bloated up like I was pregnant. The pain would shoot out of my belly and crack the rock around me. The cracks opened up into wide burrows through the mountain (I saw it as a cross-section from the side. Imagine a mountain shape with wide cracks opening up in a semicircle from my belly, like a cartoon sun with rays radiating outwards).

One the surface of the mountain, where the cracks emerged I saw chinese dragons in a figure 8 shape. Upon looking at the dragons I was able to feel the rise and fall of many ancient civilisations.

The whole vision was very engrossing. I was aware that I was awake, and that it was just a dream/vision, but it was as if I was right there when I closed my eyes. Like existing in 2 places at once.

After a while the vision faded and I went back to sleep.

Also, this was my first day trying Silene Capensis. I wasnt expecting any results from it this early so I am not sure what this was. Most likely it was something similar to a fever-dream brought on by my bad stomach and too much greasy food... but very strange!

    Are you dead?

by LostOnTrains on 02-05-2011 at 11:41 PM
Just a fragment from last night.

A dream character asking me over and over "Are you dead?"
Each time I answered "No, I am not dead" he would ask the same question. I woke up with the question ringing in my ears.

    Hands in a square

by LostOnTrains on 01-22-2011 at 02:35 AM

Lots of insomnia and broken sleep recently, so most of my dreams are fragmented and unformed.
One image that sticks out was from a couple of nights ago. WhenI woke up I drew the image because it seemed significant somehow.

It was of 4 hands gripping each others arm in a square formation, like in the picture. The hands were gripping nearer the elbow, so the square was wider, but this is the closest image I could find.
Perhaps it has some kind of meaning?
