    Scooby Doobey Dream

by MoonShooter on 06-23-2013 at 06:26 PM
Yet another non-lucid dream in which I didn't exactly remember very much, but hey. The larger frequency in dreams must be a good sign right? In any case, I'll list what I remember. Again, one of those days I neglected to write right when I woke up, but hey. Could be worse. Could have totally neglected to write at all, right?

But I digress, the thing I remember about my dream was the sheer fact that I was in the first Scooby Doo (live action) movie. Same characters, same actors (with some minor changes, now that I think about it), same... well everything it seemed. Of course, many of the scenes I saw were abbreviated, but it was definitely what I was thinking when I was in the heat of the thing. There was even that horribly done CG. But I digress. Everything was hunky dory until finally we ended up in this room that, though I could imagine it being on the vacation island the movie takes place on, but it was definitely somewhere that wasn't in the actual film. In fact... now that I think about it, I think that spot was on the plane the characters take. Like... it was a straw place, but I'm fairly sure we were flying, and there were some plane seats. Anyway, while we were on the seat, I started talking with the characters. I couldn't tell what led to it, but they came to the conclusion me, and the character playing Shaggy were both impostors of the real Shaggy and Scooby Doo... me being the impostor of Scooby Doo... something that I probably should have figured to be at least a little unrealistic, but at the time I was nervous. Scared a little that I'd been caught committing a crime I don't even remember thinking about even doing. After failing to convince them I was Scooby for some odd reason (not because I was a human, but it had something to do with my hands... paws... whatever) I tried to reason with them, trying to convince them that I didn't even know. Eventually they forgave me, and I just kind of wandered around the straw plane place... I don't even know how to describe it. There was a coconut smoothie there, I know that much. Or rather, a wine glass made out of coconuts... a wine coconut? Either way, now sober of whatever dream I just was in, I realize there were a lot of breaks in logic in that sequence.

Either way, the dream was difficult to recall, and there might have been some differences... but that's the gist of it. Also, I think Apollo was involved, though what he was doing... considering I'm not sure if that was truly apart of my dream, I won't include it. All I /will/ say though, was that I was for the most part aware, and that it was in the bar, and it was very... I'll use the word sultry for now.

As for Snow, she didn't arrive until I woke up... so nothing notable there. The same could be said for Celicia.

As for my dream alarm, I'm going to take Zoth's advice and try to more randomly distribute the times the alarm rings. Also, need to take more B6.

    MORE BEE SIX.

    Naps and Cats

by MoonShooter on 06-21-2013 at 07:40 PM
A dream I got from a nap I had around 1:00 this evening.

I was walking down one of my suburban neighborhoods, or at least I assumed I was anyway. I'd been walking for a long time, I know that much. Maybe I was coming from school? Anyway, I don't remember what happened before I started walking. But I do remember walking along the sidewalk, nothing out of the ordinary, then all of a sudden, I spied these cats hanging out of a tree. They were climbing on top of each other, helping each other out of the tree... it was quite the sight and I knew it too. I knew it was anything but normal, though I don't think it occurred to me I was dreaming. Just that something strange was happening... but anyway, the first thing I did was want to get a picture of these cats doing their team building thing to get out of the tree. (I'd also like to note that they were fairly big. Like... the smallest one might have been the size of Garfield. No they weren't all fat, but I think you get the idea.) Anyway, I fumbled to get my I pod's camera function, but I was having so much trouble getting it to open up like I wanted. Rage started to brew inside me to the point I got so frustrated with the device, I threw it in some random direction. It landed on the side of a yard on the hill of someone's house. I looked back at the cats. With the biggest one on top of them, they trotted off, and I'd missed the abnormal event. Still angry as hell I missed the next possible internet phenomena (because cats), I went over to pick up my iPod. Unsurprisingly, it was broken, but not too much. Just a few things I needed to pop back in, like the sides, and the slider bar that you use to unlock the device... yeah, that digital little slider needed to be popped back into place. And it was red, which wasn't normal... maybe it was the power slider, but I think the point is gotten. The other part I spied was the sheer fact that I thought the screen was broken. Though with a little peeling, it was revealed the screen was just fine, and only the screen protector was damaged. Because peeling it off, I found more sweat and water beads than I did cracks on the screen.

    And then I woke up.

Nothing involving Snow, Celicia or Apollo this time... nothing I wasn't sure I was awake for.

    Snow Path

by MoonShooter on 06-21-2013 at 02:09 PM
This one's going to be a little shorter simply because it was harder to get to my computer to start writing. But anywho, I remember something, so I might as well write something.

Basically, all I can recall is walking along a snow path. I was armed with something, I know that much. It was probably a sword, but I can't remember for sure. Anyway, it was snowing lightly, but the snow path was narrow. If I'm remembering correctly, the snow path was more like a bridge crossing some kind of gap... but at the same time I distinctly remember being up in some mountains. Or maybe that's just me making up shit? Either way, I continued up until I came to this... I don't know whether to call it a large cabin... a castle... I'll call it a hall for now. Anyway, I walked inside, and I knew I had to get something. Not sure what, but I didn't have that much time to look simply because I was attacked by some kind of goblin thing. It might have been another creature but... I suppose it's the only way I can describe it. It had animal skin armor, and it was green... so god damn it I'm going to call it a goblin. Unsurprisingly, I beat it's shit. After that I think I just left... I don't even think I took anything (or maybe I did, and I just don't remember). Consistency when I found myself moving down... or rather up the snow path again. After that it's a blur, because next thing I knew, I was extremely sad. Like... I associate this sadness to the thought of my parents dying or something horrible like that. I remember this because... well, I wasn't sure if I was awake or not for sure, but I started holding Apollo for comfort. My other tulpalamas also asking what was wrong... I didn't answer, given the fact I went back to sleep. I believe I had another dream, but I can't remember what it was.

Perhaps that was them in the dream, perhaps it wasn't... but whatever. I'm going to attempt to do some legitimate research over the site in order to make larger strides toward lucid dreaming.

As of now, the only things I've been doing is keeping an alarm that plays loudly and hourly to get my mind used to asking if I'm dreaming. Also the hands thing and the mantra. But yeah. Enough from my mouth.

The Rizon of the Walking Dead

by MoonShooter on 06-19-2013 at 11:05 AM
There's very little I can remember from this dream, but I'm fairly confident it happened in this order.

First, I was on my laptop (as I am now) chatting it up on an IRC channel. I assume it was one of the tulpa channels simply because I was in a client that resembled Mibbit... and I only use Mibbit for those types of chats. In either case, I said I was going to log off, much like I did right before going to bed. Or perhaps I wasn't, I don't remember for sure, simply because rather than using the "/quit" command, I used the "/nick" command I believe. Whatever happened caused my nick to change from "Moon[Snow]" to "Moon[Snow]|". Again, part of the reason I'm beginning to doubt I was trying to quit was because I changed my nick again to "Moon[Snow] | " and then "Moon[Snow]| |" and then "Moon[Snow]| |\" (I know how uninteresting this is, just hold on). Eventually, some asshole started complaining about me constantly changing nicks... or rather he was noting it in a manner I found annoying "Moon just changed his fucking nick name again"... or something like that. I suppose I was thinking something along the lines of "It was a mistake you asshole"... or something like that. I looked down at my keyboard to test a theory, and true enough, the shift key, enter key, slash and dash signs were placed in a manner just begging for me to hit them on accident when trying to hit the enter button... or at least that's what I was thinking at the time, oppose to the "Holy shit, my keyboard is re-arranged! This can't be reeeeeeal!"

Maybe it's a testament to the hours upon hours I spend on the IRC channels...nah.

Anyway, I can't exactly remember the sequence of events that followed, but I assume I was in my house at the time. Because eventually, as I closed out of my computer, and did some shit, I was attacked by Zombies. At least I called them Zombies at the time. At the time, it probably would have made sense to call them walkers, or something else simply because I was thinking of Walking Dead, the show AND the video game at the time. The zombies were a mixture of the two styles... having the glowing white eyes of the comics/game and having the more realistic look of the show. In either case, as you could imagine, these things had me running. I ran down some staircase (that didn't match the layout of my own home at fucking all) right into the kitchen. I believe I struggled with some Zombies in there, locating a kitchen knife and stabbing a few through the skull. Unsurprisingly, I killed a few, but with every one I killed, it seemed like 10 more would appear. So naturally, I'm gonna Conker General "Fuck that shit" and run through the nearest door... which brought me into an exact clone of the kitchen I was just in. This time, I made the smart decision and blocked off the door to the other kitchen, buying me some time. I wildly looked around, hoping to find some kind of exit... and in retrospect, I probably should have tried the windows... eh, maybe there were more Zombies out there. I dunno. I doubt I was thinking to clearly at the time while the walking dead was clawing at my doors HUNGERING MY FLESH. Anyway, I resolved to finding a cabinet and getting inside. I found a bunch of matchboxes in there (one of which I recognized as the same one I keep on my computer desk). I stuffed all of them, except the over sized kitchen matchbox I actually knew for a fact existed, and hopped into the cabinet. I didn't think I'd last long in there however before the zombies got me. I had to escape... so rather than TRYING THE BRIGHT ASS WINDOW, I started ripping into the wall from a small gap next to the power outlet that accompanied me in the cabinet. As I panicked, ripping into the wall, a few thoughts passed my mind. There was another door... what if I could sneak through there, and loop around to the front and face less zombies. But what if there's a lot in there too? Well, at least the alarm is about to ring in my room... you know, the one I set up every hour to force myself to ask the question as to whether or not I'm dreaming.

Say, by the way, am I drea-

And then I woke up and thought... wow. That was dumb. I was a little nervous from the fear... but that might have just been hunger. Fuck am I hungry right now. Sum buddy go make me some nachos. With EXTRA pickles.

And as a side note, there wasn't any real signs of my tulpa doing anything, though since it's been reported in the past they can be involved in lucid dreams... eh, we'll work on it.

    Zombie Nacho People

by MoonShooter on 06-19-2013 at 10:24 AM
As the first post, I suppose I should note, for myself and anyone reading this that this online/digital journal is temporary. Eventually I'll create my own private dream journal to illustrate any of my dreams... lucid or otherwise (I'll get the dream lingo down eventually) but for now treat this online journal not only as a place to at least start, but a place of incentive to be consistent with listing my dreams.

But enough talk. DREAM AT YOU.

    ...I'm still working on it.
