I'm assuming you've quit because you think it's not worth it anymore. My point is you can actually ignore certain aspects of the competition (like team points, or lack of partner) and still enjoy the...

I have on average about 4 dreams per REM/waking. The more wakings I have, the more I can recall with detail, and I believe recall is the building block of LDing, that's why I have mantras for...

How about crossing your left and right index and underneath your left and right middle finger. (Make a scissors out of your index and middlefinger on both hands and then cross them.) I had to draw...

OK feeling the pressure, we have a very active lower div. Bad time for a long (approaching 3 weeks) LD dry spell, and a stess and bad-sleep induced recall low spell. Watched those two videos,...

On the contrary, the whole point of this as I see it is creating some kind of sign that is discrete but noticeable just by lucid dreamers. If no one noticed you did it, it wouldn't be awkward but it...

First lucid : I go on my balcony and realize there's a new door in there. I ask myself what is that door doing there and I enter in it. It leads to my living room. I think it's weird so I do a RC....

Nah, just as long as you believe in the dream that it's your teammate. Like summoning them, or getting a DC to answer "yes" to "are you XYZ?" Heh yes I thought I'd get more shout-outs on...

I once read something about this somewhere, and it definitely sounds like an interesting idea. Basically, you set many alarms in the morning with 15-30 minute intervals, so that you are awakened by...

Ok so I did a WBTB which resulted after not being able to get to sleep for the first thirty min. of trying to in this LD:
Ok so I was in my room, but it looked totally different than in real life. It was nighttime, and the sky was completely dark without stars. I did a RC (looking at my hands), without a proper reason. So I was lucid. I stabilized the dream and I tried to fly, I did manage it, but because of the excitement I woke up, so the stabilization wasn't really effective.
I forgot to DEILD.
The second dream I recall was this:
I was in a room with another guy but idk why. After taking quick look around the building I was in - it was a rather large bungalow - I decided to talk to the guy. He was ~18 years old and pretty nice. He had short brown hair and looked very similar to a cousin of mine (it wasn't him though). We talked about music and we decided to play a couple of songs together. Then we played some old-school video games like the original mario and zelda, although they were not very 'real'. Then he showed me that he liked to program his own videogames, too. Sadly at this point I woke up. The dream was very calm, no things I had to do and I didn't have any fears etc.
This is just a small fragment, because I didn't get much sleep.
There is a 2 meters tall Vampire Lord in his big and dark castle. I know he is the antagonist of the dream. I am his 'apprentice', but I don't know why, but I want to rival him and oppose his dark soul.
I'm so sad not having been able to remember the whole dream, because it must have been really cool.
First dream (fragment):
I was on a trip with our school's orchestra (idk where).
I was hungry so I searched something to eat. I bought carrots somewhere and ate them together with a couple of cupcakes.
I met a couple friends, some of those I don't know in waking life. Then a teacher of mine came and said we shouldn't eat...
Second dream:
I was in front of a small house with green curtains and I immediatly thought "I'm in Paris".
It was daytime. Then I started to follow the row in front of the house until a bride appeard. Suddenly I saw the 'Castel Sant'Angelo' and I realised I was in Rome. At that point it was also nighttime suddenly - also I was driving a motorcycle. I crossed the bridge and searched for a street name so I could find my way home. I met my sister DC, and she told me I was heading in the wrong way. At this point I fell asleep...I was talking to an old man. I kinda knew I was dreaming, but not really - I even thought that that guy had to be my dream guide - I was very close to lucidity. Then a classmate of mine spoke to me from behind (I couldn't see him). I don't remember whar he said. Then I woke up. Realising I had been dreaming, allthough still in a dream. I was in a red oldtimer together with my sister not knowing what had happened. Anyway I decided to try DEILD and as it was a dream I was succesful.Being *lucid* for a short moment - I just remember blackness from this one. It's just that at this point I knew I was dreaming.I woke up to the red oldtimer again - without having had the opportunity to do anything in my lucidity. Now my whole family was in the car. Then I woke up for real.
Did an unsuccesful WBTB before.
Had one very strange dream;
So I was outside my school (again) and I met my sister. Apparently our schoolyard had changed into a gigantic amusement park. The colours of the dream were very vivid. I had some kind of microphone with me and I was interviewing everyone I met. I don't really remembered what she said. At this point I thought how awesome it would be to be in a LD. (man, so close). I then proceeded to search something to drink - without really being thirsty.
I encountered a lot of teachers on my way wich made me uncomfortable.
Right at the end of the dream I realised being in a dream. But after trying to do a few things like flying, jumping around or summon a DC, (all of those failed) I woke up - forgetting yet again to try DEILD..
That's all I can remember now.
I remember(ed) 3 dreams today: 2 normal ones and 1 LD;
Here is the second of the normal dreams:
After class, I wanted to leave school.
Only problem is I had to go past the janitor, who strangely controlled everyone like they do in airports.
The thing is I didn't have my passport with me, which was needed.
At this point I really panicked, knowing I wouldn't be able to get home.
So I tried to get past the "security check" anyway.
So after I put my school bag in the X-Ray thingy the guy asked my if I had my passport.
But then I woke up...
I don't remember the *plot/setting* of the other 2 dreams though.
Ok I forgot the LD for the competition:
The 'setting' of my lucid dream was some small playground in the Netherlands (In Uithuizermeeden I think), where I was in the holidays and that I still remember because I was there every summer as a child.
Sadly I don't remember how I got there, I seem to remember LDs way better than normal ones.
I tried to stabilize, but I nearly immediatly woke up :-S
