Random TV Clip
I was in some studio or room that was quite small - everything was bright, modern and futuristic. I remember looking at the TV and seeing the intro animation for The National (news show on CBC Canada), but it was a very old version from the late 2000's. It was quite funny because it was so modern looking and the TV clip was so old. I should have realized and became lucid, but I wasn't focusing right.

Bullying
This one is weird. I was in my garage and I remember being approached by some weird boys (I'm guessing I was being like a little version of myself) and I remember them beating me up. I didn't get bullied when I was little (and even now for that matter) so I don't exactly know why I had this dream. The scene continued on my front yard - I remember hearing them say something like they were doing the 'track brace' or 'train' something to me. In the moment, I was actually pretty freaked out and felt helpless.

I was reading about how to identify if you are dreaming just before I went to bed. The book said that it would take many days of writing down dream journal entries to finally recognize if one is dreaming.

Anyways, when I was dreaming last night I made sure I was paying attention to my surroundings. Everything was going good until I noticed a person in front of me with only one hand, and they had a mickey mouse type of glove on (haha!). At that moment, I knew for sure I was dreaming. Once I became aware that I was dreaming, I was extremely excited since it was my first time lucid dreaming. I immediately started to fly but after a couple of seconds, my excitement got the best of me and the dream slowly faded away. For a couple of seconds, I could feel I was being disconnected, so I tried to calm down a bit, but the world was getting darker and less vivid, and then I woke up.

I really need to learn to keep my concentration in the dreams and make sure I don't wake up!

The weirdest thing is that I know I have felt that feeling of lucid dreaming before. It is as if I have lucid dreamed before, but just did not recognize it to be lucid dreaming.

Extremely weird night...

I got up today and moved (apparently you loose memory of your dreams by doing that). Anyways, I was quite disappointed at the fact that I didn't remember any dreams from last night. Before I want to start trying to lucid dream I wanted to compile some entries in my dream journal to prepare me for what is to come.

After a couple of hours, I suddenly remembered a small segment of a dream I had last night. I was explaining lucid dreaming to my mom (or at least I think it was my mom - she was to my left) and I tried to fly by raising my hands and jumping. The thing was I actually went pretty far up and forward.

It was so crazy because I am constantly thinking about this and I almost convinced myself I did this in real life, but it is not possible! My mind tricked me into thinking I wasn't dreaming... I think that lucid dreaming may be harder than I thought.

This is my first dream journal entry! All I can really remember is being at this location that looked very similar to the hotel Chatou Frontinac in Quebec, Canada (I have been there before once). The surroundings were not at all like what they are in real life - everything around was flat and there were some structures that were smaller versions of the hotel, they also had green roofs. I remember being behind this group of people in this long hall of arches outdoors - the posts of arches stretched about 100 meters. It looked like a parade or some sort of dance - I distinctly remember a group of girls in spandex (light green and red, like neon colors) in a cheerleading type form a couple of meters ahead of me. Then, I am touching this big object to my left ( it was either a big shiny ball like a marble or an instrument like a drum) that was in wheels. Someone ahead of me was pulling the object with a rope. Then, I remember these stairs that looked very rich and royal - white and thick rock). I think I saw some of my friends but I am not sure entirely.

This was not a lucid dream, although there were a lot of clues that gave the fact that it was a dream away. I hope to get better at recognizing that I am dreaming and hopefully lucid dream after getting a few more entries.

I just recently got interested in lucid dreaming and I find all of this extremely fascinating. I wish I could someday experience what some people on this website have!
