    My 1st Lucid Nightmare

    by Pinkey209 on 09-09-2013 at 05:23 PM
I never thought I would have a nightmare, especially a Lucid Nightmare. I always thought, "Well Im always in such a great mood and when I have a LD I'm always so happy." I was wrong. In my dream, I wake up and it is hard to move. Its really dark I can barely see. Theres someone else near me but idk where. I finally get up and start feeling my face and everything. My face and leg is numb. Somehow this is when I knew I was dreaming. So I would start to freak out, then id calm down cuz I knew I was just dreamin. I sat in a chair and somebody yanked me back and I slid in the chair out of the room. I saw the guy poke his head out and then go back in my room. I was trying to scream to wake everyone in the house up but I couldnt. Somehow this worked: I had to put my hand on my face and push up to wake myself up. I had a couple False Awakenings before I finally woke up. Overall I am dissapointed in the way I handled my Lucid Nightmare. I knew I was dreaming and I was able to calm myself down. I should have took control and turned it into a great fun dream but I couldnt for some reason. And I wish I didnt force myself awake. Lucid Nightmares can happen to anyone at anytime. If you read ths before your next Lucid Nightmare remember, the next time you have a lucid nightmare, try to control it and turn it into a nice fun dream or something and lemme know how it goes. I think I was too shocked and inexperienced to be able to turn the outcome of my nightmare around. Maybe next time. If you read this I thank you!

8/10/13 - My First Official Lucid Dream

    by Pinkey209 on 08-11-2013 at 10:35 AM
I was crawling into my room. I was halfway in, then I got stuck. Then I was unable to move. I then looked up at my computer. It was at this moment I relized I was dreaming. It was off. I then saw a force field hover over my body. Then I felt and saw strong vibrations throughout my body. Amazingly, being so new to this I was able to keep calm. As they increased, I then noticed my computer displaying images while still being off. I remember It was like history was literally flashing before my eyes. It stopped and then I began to levitate. By this time I was so stoked I woke up (not in real life). My brother accidentally kicked me as he was walking down the hall. Probably because I was only halfway in my room. Then, It took a great amount of effort, I truely woke up in real life. I was so happy! After almost 2 weeks of trial and error, I had my first official Lucid Dream. It feels great. I am now a true believer in Lucid Dreaming. Once I get the hang of this, I will move on to Astral Projection!

    [Non-Lucid

I remember walking down the street on a sidewalk There were lots of traffic. On the way there, I heard a police scanner describing a suspect in the area that they were trying to apprehend. I kept walking down the sidewalk and I ran into a police officer. At this point the police scanner became louder. We were talking for a bit and before we parted ways, I told him that I passed the suspect they were looking for and I described him to the cop. After I stopped talking to him I turned around and started walking the opposite direction. Then I woke up. This was my first day with a dream journal. I had more vivid recalls as the days progressed.
