PrisonPlanet liked post by Occipitalred On thread : Don't Be Evil In Your Dreams!
It's fun to imagine we can access other dimensions in our sleep but there's no evidence to hint us in that direction. Everything we know about dreams scientifically and experimentally is that dreams...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Hilary On thread : Succubus?
Hm, I don't think it's a succubus, although anything is possible. Sometimes I feel weird things like that, too, when half-asleep. Like a very cold, cold air, and very localized. Like a hand resting...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Venryx On thread : New device "SmartLucider" (successor to the RemDreamer)
Just thought I'd mention that someone on the French lucid-dreaming forum found a new device by the creator of the RemDreamer called the "SmartLucider".
Since commercial links are prophibited...

PrisonPlanet liked post by DarkestDarkness On thread : Lucid Dreaming and the Feeling of Being Refreshed in the Morning: A Diary Study
It's an interesting study and it was nice to see that there's still some on-going research interest on the subject. I read it thoroughly last night and have been thinking about it a bit. Below are...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Occipitalred On thread : Lucid Dreaming and the Feeling of Being Refreshed in the Morning: A Diary Study
Thanks for the article!
It's a relief and also exciting that they found lucid dreaming does not affect sleep quality. It's probably been the most reasonable worry surrounding lucid dreaming.

PrisonPlanet liked post by Yumnش On thread : Can't stay aware
I think you have exactly what it takes to achieve a WILD. It's great that you are using a mantra but in the end it is the consciousness that needs to be held intact before you transition in to a...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Lokoloi On thread : Can't stay aware
Thanks for your reply!
I have had around 7 ld's now but they've all been fragments, meaning the moment I realize I'm dreaming, I'm awake. Sometimes I wake up a couple seconds before I realize it ,...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Occipitalred On thread : Was this a low level Lucid dream?
I like to view "lucidity" as being a multi-spectrum mosaic... Trying to reach lucidity while dreaming is often synonymous with trying to have awake-like awareness during a dream... But you are...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Zthread On thread : New way to use a Remee dream mask
I bought a Remee mask earlier this month. The first time I used it, it was so uncomfortable I could hardly sleep. (I should mention that I usually find sleep masks to be uncomfortable.) It pressed...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Voldmer On thread : Taking applications for an official shared dreaming research group (limited spaces available)
NOTE TO SELF: Get lucid in a dream, request details on organizer of shared dreaming research group, and memorize same! :)
Incidentally, I support Sageous' view that lucidity is not required. It...

PrisonPlanet liked post by LeaningKarst On thread : Taking applications for an official shared dreaming research group (limited spaces available)
I’m not planning on applying to this, but I am curious about something. This thread’s title says that the shared dreaming group is official—but there’s no mention of an organization that it’s...

PrisonPlanet liked post by LeaningKarst On thread : Taking applications for an official shared dreaming research group (limited spaces available)
Well, the OP still hasn’t addressed my concerns—which would have taken all of two seconds for someone with nothing to hide—and so I have to say: yes, this whole thing is decidedly fishy. Signing up...

PrisonPlanet liked post by shadowofwind On thread : Has having an obe shaped your views about the afterlife?
I strongly suspect that the silver cord thing is utter BS. Blavatsky made it up, or more likely plagiarized it from somewhere else, then other people keep repeating it since then.

PrisonPlanet liked post by shadowofwind On thread : Can a person recall a past life in a dream?
I think that determining what is or isn't a past life is a very difficult problem. I've never seen evidence that the authors of such books have grappled with it to any serious extent, so I think...

PrisonPlanet liked post by Darkmatters On thread : Evil Lucid Dreamers?
^ Seconded. I know many of what I have considered lucid dreams actually were more like regular dreams where I just said something like "I know this is a dream" in the dream (or just thought it), but...
