First, may I apologize for being lame and not posting for two months. Two words: AP Test.
Secondly, I had a kind-of lucid dream last night! Woot! I remember looking in my closet, because it was combo clothes storage/refrigerator but the eggs and butter were going bad so I wanted to use them immediately. So I made cookies and returned to my closet, and in the back was a doll-thing that could move and talk and was my friend. It came out of the closet (teehee) and sat on the edge of my bed, and as I looked over at it I noticed my alarm clock. The numbers on the clock kept changing, and I thought to myself, "Wow, it would be pretty cool if I was dreaming!" Then I looked at my hand and realized I had six fingers, and I went lucid instantly, but I was so excited that I woke up.

I dreamt last night in black and white, which is a first for me. The set-up of the dream was odd; it was like a game or simulation. An experiment. I was on an old luxury boat, and it was sinking. There were four groups of people staying in different cabins- one was a single mom and her two kids, one was two good friends, one was an African tribe that stayed above deck the entire time, and the other I can't remember. I had to experience each group, as if it were a level in a video game, as they tried to survive. I don't think they made it; the most vivid part of the dream was me dying. I often die in dreams, but I always wake up before I'm legitimately dead. This time, however, I died all the way- I fell backwards, and then there was a rapid progression of black-and-white imagery. Then I woke up.

I dreamt that I was in a bookstore. First I saw Cathy Cassidy, a lady I used to go to church with, and she gave me a hug and said she missed me. Then I saw my grandma. (She died in December; before that, she had severe Alzheimer's for years) She hugged me, too, and we talked for a while, and she wanted to get some movies and watch them together, and I woke up because I really, really miss her.

So I was in the middle of a forest with my YW Mormon friends (because it was Mormon camp) and we were hiking around, trying to find a place to pitch our tents. Then a guy named Luke- a fellow Mormon, who I hardly know- was sitting by a tree, manning a store full of stuff he had stolen. This was a very vivid dream, but I made the mistake of not immediately writing it down so I forgot most of it.

I dreamed that I was in this intense ultra hi-tech theater/museum/jewelry store thing. It was all royal blue, white, and black, and everything was shiny. I don't remember much of the actual dream, but I do remember my drama teacher was sitting at a table. I was talking to her, and she randomly burst out into loud, blubbering tears while flailing her arms above her head. T'was rather strange.
