Thanks for the advice. I'll still first work on getting WILD right and maybe after that i might build additional methods up as support.
Maybe you should practice DILD too. It's not much extra work. Just put the intention to become lucid next time you're dreaming, to realize it's a dream, when you wbtb. You know, just basic MILD. Your perspective memory will help as a plan B, make you lucid if the WILD fails. It also becomes better and better the more you use it cuz prospective memory gets used to an intention more and more the more you use it. You can train your perspective memory during the day too to make MILD even more powerful, but you don't have to. I WILD each night and most of my lucids are MILD bcz when I fail the WILD I rely of the MILD.
You're lucky to not be going through this all the time. I'm starting to suspect it to be a dream. Always only noises and difficulty to move. Where is the common stuff like HI and heaviness? To add up, it ends too fast. Put that all together and just MAYBE i've been dreaming about SP all along! The sudden gain of awareness and my body feeling funny, it could just be my transition into a FA back then. Even if i stay there waiting, nothing else happens. There is only one way i'm going to find out; I'm rolling over.
sry can't post more than 3 pms an hour. I can't help you much in avoiding SP cuz I barely go through it. In all my 2 years of LDing, I've only had it once, and very slightly. But about HI, I personally focus on visualizing my dream goal, while keeping a mantra to keep my self awareness. It works well for me, I don't get distracted by HI. Well at first I might get distracted a bit by outer sounds and anoying thoughts, but they soon fade away when I get sinked in into the visualizations (almost always about being with cute anime girls, which is quite easy to get sucked into )
That sounds very exciting. Even more since all my ld's were blurry DILDs. I'm struggling a little with WILD, but it shall pay off really good when i get the method correctly.
Oh man, sux. Well anyways, when you become good at LDing, it will compensate very well Yea I am very interested in anime! I try to LD about anime characters, and not just that, but also live storylines in my LDs in anime style. Well easier said than done :p I'm still struggling on not waking up after I become lucid, and also working on stronger dream recall. I'll need more practice to reach the level of storylines, but it's worth it all! LDs can get hyper realistic when you're good, and I had a few of those, last one a few days ago (with amazing vision, better than my RL vision lol). You feel as if you're really there. It's like you teleported and not went asleep. O/c my recall of the richness and presence of it starts to fade quickly after I wake up, which is why I need to DJ properly to rapid up my pace. Also to top it off, let's say when it's a special event in my storyline, I would take supplements, which would make the LD much more hyper realistic and aware!
That? I wanted to learn and i still do, but there was a reason that forced me to stop. I wish i would continue learning.. You look interested in manga/anime. I'm too! I'm looking forward to lucid dreams involving manga characters, that should very well compensate for me stopping drawing.
Hey, saw a comment of yours in Sycra's proportions video. Small world. Do you draw manga? I'm very curious :3
