    Gently

by wRembrandt on 08-05-2021 at 06:27 PM
I had a lucid dream by accident this morning. WBTB as usual with a bit of gentle meditation. The lucid dream was one I've had some many times before:

    1) Feeling like I am melting out of my body.
    2) End up in my bedroom forged out of memories
    3) Walk outside my home into a cloudy overcast morning or straight up rain.
    4) Lucidity lasts for 2 minutes then either I lose it or wake up.

    Been a minute

by wRembrandt on 07-14-2021 at 03:56 PM
Did WBTB. Meditated for a little bit. This time as I was falling asleep I was imagining the sensation of my body in motion. I was imagining I was gliding in the air 2 feet above the ground. The sensation became more vivid and I was inside of a dream. It was early morning and overcast in the dream. I saw some people playing in the street but I did not approach them. I was trying to summon my dream guide but they never appeared.

I'm always at an impasse of what to do once I get inside the dream and stabilize it.

    A short lucid today

by wRembrandt on 05-22-2021 at 05:39 PM
So I had a lucid dream this morning using a combination of WBTB and meditation. The lucid dream was short but I think I have the pathway to Natural Lucid Dreaming down. NLD meaning "without some elaborate Technique of the Month".

You meditate before bed in the night for 20 minutes.
You wake up in the middle of the night, record any dreams and meditate again for 20 minutes.
    Go back to sleep.

    That's it.

To meditate is to become present to the moment. It's okay if you are thinking or chatting with yourself. Meditation is not supposed to be anything profound, spiritual, or deep. The fact that you are aware of the present moment for the majority of the session is good enough. TL;DR meditation is very simple and easy so don't over think it. Just let it happen.

    Snooze To Win

by wRembrandt on 03-10-2021 at 04:55 PM
So the whole thing of hitting my snooze button every 10 minutes has yielded me some very interesting dreams...none lucid however. I don't use a technique like MILD or whatever, I just go back to sleep between alarms.

    Snooze

by wRembrandt on 03-08-2021 at 04:42 PM
So I'm giving this thing a try where you just repeatedly hit your snooze button and enjoy the 10 minute dreams in between. They were interesting but I wish my alarm gave me at least 5 more minutes to enjoy them. I could be on to something here.
