The site is like that for me now. The people are awesome. Anyway, your loss I suppose.
Also, I used to use the internet A LOOOOT more. I think that's what ultimately made the difference. This site was fun when there were members I could honestly call close friends. When that went away there was nothing left.
It wasn't really one over the other. I just became less and less interested in this site after they shut down the spam thread, the only reason that I'd even been coming here anymore.
