Yeah....that piece really does leave one pondering. I actually watched it again today to try to wrap my head around his concepts. It really is a good mental exercise. As far as consciousness...

I have tried theanine and I didn't see any results, so I quit. I do take the Grind supplement, but I don't think that has any theanine in it. HIGHLY recommend Grind if you haven't tried it. ...

Good question. I don't have a very wide circle of acquaintances these days. I live with my co-star in an empty nest and she already sees me as a somewhat unique individual. I finish my exercise...

Good note. That first experience is still very strong in my mind. I pushed hard and it felt exactly like it does during the day.....I could feel the push back from my palm. Then I pushed harder...

Really? Debatable, right? Here is an interesting take on that from a cognitive neuroscientist. It's a little heady and kind of long.... ...

What I truly think is happening is that I am beginning to succeed in creating an unbroken continuity of consciousness between my waking life and my night time dreaming life. For me this is a very...

All of that actually happened....exactly that way....every little nuance. When that little girl in the white dress locked eyes with me I felt certain that I was in a dream. Then, on the way back that...

I find the mask perfectly fine. At one point, I thought it was too loose, so in the dark I thought it would be a good idea to fumble around and tighten it up. Nah, I made it too tight and it felt...

My wife bought me a Remee for my birthday as I've been wanting one for probably three years now. I've had it for a few weeks now, and though I haven't gotten back to any lucidity yet, I have MUCH...

I like that comparison to improv theater a lot. For quite a while now I have been working to establish a very basic level of underlying lucidity in my dreams rather than to achieve strong and...

I'm in a pine forest near a cabin, getting ready to go to sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground. It's a beautiful warm night, with lots of stars in the sky. I'm looking forward to sleeping outdoors among the pine trees. My wife comes out of the cabin to see how I'm doing. I tell her I'm fine. But then, right before our eyes, a vertical crack opens up in the trunk of the pine tree closest to me, creating a crackling sound. It's maybe a foot long, 1-inch wide, and 2-inches deep. I point it out to my wife, but she's not really interested and goes back inside. The crack then gets a lot bigger, with more crackling sounds. It's now maybe 3 feet long, 3-inches wide, and 6 inches deep. Then, after a few more seconds, the entire tree falls over, with a loud crash. It fell away from me, but if it had hit me I wouldn't have survived. I'm now wondering if it might not be such a great idea to fall asleep out there with all these trees around me.
Comments: Didn't take any supplements, but my wife came home from a trip and woke me up almost 2 hours after I'd fallen asleep. Interesting that it was a dream about wanting to go to sleep, but in an environment where sleeping was a dangerous thing to do. Maybe my SC was trying to make me think of sleeping so I'd realize I was dreaming and become lucid. Too bad it didn't work. Would have been fun to be lucid in a forest on a warm summer night.
