Re occurring dream?

7 nights ago I dreamed about being in the video game halo, I never have before (that I have remembered), and then over the last 7 nights, 4 of them I dreamed about it. And some nights I have multiple dreams about it.
They are always different, but always related to halo. E.g. Last night I dreamed I was going to war but I had alien halo guns and futuristic halo armor, but the night before I was in armor and I was shooting aliens with a rocket launcher.

Why is this happening? I don't mind I'm just wondering.
And is there any good techniques I could use to use this to become lucid?
Like auto suggestion or something?

First question is, do you play Halo regularly?
I guess you do but just checking.. in that case I guess you could reality check every now and then whilst playing?
After you kill a squad of Aliens or something just ask yourself 'Am i dreaming?' then do a reality check to make sure.

Not real often, just a little bet everynight to chill out.
And yea il try that.
But in my dreams it's not like I'm playing it on a tv, it's like I've gone into it, would the RCs still carry through?

If you were to use them enough, sure.
Its up to you to come up with a technique that would work reliably for you though.
In my opinion it should be a more general RC, because now you'd have to play halo everynight hoping you have a dream about it again, you know?

Well you can use this to your advantage, in real life when you see Halo do a reality check, become particularly aware when these dream signs come up.

Moved to the Nightmares and Recurring Dreams section.

Once before when I had played a bunch of hours of Call of Duty: Black Ops, I had a dream I was in black ops. Now that I mention it, I do also remember a dream where I was going over strategy for playing the game. Maybe it's because you really like the game and it spills over. Or it could be a metaphor for something in your life. Think about what Halo represents to you, and why you play it?

As previously suggested, it seems your best bet would be a regular reality check while playing irl every 20 minutes or so.
