Possible supernatural encounter, please help?
Hey guys, I don’t know how I should introduce myself, or if this is even the right place to discuss this. My name is Anthony, and I’ve always been sceptical of people who claim to have had supernatural experiences through dreams or even “visions” but after what I experienced last night I’m not sure I where I stand on this issue. I’d really like somebody to offer any insight that they have on this because I’m very spooked right now. I don’t want to sound cliché, but I think that there’s more to this then just another dream. As peculiar as it sounds, it seems to me like I’ve been visited by an other-worldly messenger offering profound foresight into the future while in my reposed state of rest. Even now as I recall this experience, an intense and profound sense of fear and confusion envelopes me.
As with most dreams, I don’t remember exactly how I arrived at this scene. The earliest point in the dream that I can remember had me sitting in a room with a mysterious entity. I stifled a scream as I stared across the room into the eyes of what I thought would surely be the last living thing that I saw. The hideous being stood directly across from me, an odd veil covering its face. Its muffled shrieks penetrated my soul as its spasmodic gesticulations led me to believe that it was a creature of profound malevolent intentions. At first its ramblings were loud and unintelligible, but the more it spoke of the tragic events to come erelong, the more it spoke with a cunning suavity, and I began to understand the creature. It vehemently spoke of a terrible period of suffering that would befall everyone if we didn’t change our ways. It spoke with a tone that sounded urgent but sincere, and told me that the human race had vexed its master, who he assured me would exact revenge as he had done before. At first I had supposed that this was an evil entity, some sort of demon. But now I’m left to wonder, could it have been an angel in disguise?
I can’t even begin to understand what exactly had happened last night, but I’m so terrified to go to sleep again tonight that I’m hopped up on stimulants just to avoid any more possible encounters. Even more horrifying then the blatant appearance and initial shock of whatever entity I was faced with was the question that I had conceived after this experience that was left in my mind throughout the day: If this entity was the compassionate “good guy” in the grand scheme of things, what unspeakable horror could possibly act as the “bad guy”?
