Recurring dream where you're a different person?

In almost every one of my dreams I constantly change persons. I'm someone else or I'm talking to someone and then they turn into someone else I was wondering does this happen to you guys too?

Almost never. Although recently in about 3 dreams or so I morphed. Once into a butterfly, once into a pikachu, and once into a different person. You have to think about what you morphed into means to you, because it probably means you have something in common with it somehow. In one dream I dreamed that I was pikachu, my sister was Kirby, and my brother was yoshi, because those are the characters we played as in super smash bros..

Yup, this happens to me sometimes, not in every dream, but often enough. One of my favorite dreams this year was one in which I was a guy like Sherlock Holmes. One of the silliest dreams I ever had: I was a giant goose. During my most recent lucid dream, once I became lucid, my mother morphed into a man I do not know. Those things happen.

Sometimes I think that I dream of being other people as a kind of role playing. Other times I think that my being not myself is a sign that other things in my dream are also not what they seem. And there are many other reasons. Also dreams are often unstable: things, dream characters, places, everything changes at a moments notice in many dreams.

Oh yes, this happens to me fairly often. Many of my written dream journal entries start with "I am not myself". Sometimes characters blend together, in the moment it makes complete sense.
