FIRST POST - common dream, need help
I'm so very excited, I've been trying to figure this out - and randomly googled, and found this site.
I have had, for years, the same type of dream - variations of it. I am laying in bed (and its current date, etc) its as if my eyes are wide open...same furniture, etc - and my dream will bring in bad things that are chasing me or coming at me. Spiders from the ceiling, shapes flying at me from the window, one time I saw a man in the close with a ladder and he was trying to get up into the attic crawl space. Here is the problem, every time I have this dream, I get out of bed screaming and running around trying to flee the scene. I have run down stairs, I have fallen down the stairs, I throw pillows, I scream my head off.
This week, I dreamed that someone was coming through the wall (meanwhile I was still laying in bed), I saw that they had a dart gun of sorts, and they were going to shoot me with it, I ran around the house with a pillow swatting at my ass because I thought the dart gun was moving around like a heat seeking missile following me around the house, thought if I could swat it away - I would be able to hit it down. The creepiest part is that i ran back upstairs thinking I had "out run" it (stupid I know) and all of a sudden felt this horrible piercing pain in my leg, like a prick. like a dart needle. I fell and woke up on the bathroom floor. :muffin::muffin::muffin:
Every time I have the same issue. I am laying in bed and something comes at me, sometimes I stay in bed and just throw pillows screaming bloody murder, other times I run out of bed down the call. EVERY TIME I wake up - aware of what is going on, really really embarrassed that AGAIN I didn't realize it was a dream. but I remember EVERY bit.
Its like i'm half awake - eyes open and can see my house the whole dream, I mean Im not falling over, I'm running around fully aware - and I just moved so you would think if my eyes were closed I would be hitting walls....and then the dream part is that my mind is adding attacking things, spiders, odd men, etc - things I did not invite into my room.
This has been at LEAST once a week for years and years.
HELP! I am so exhausted, my counselor thinks this is one of the reasons I have chronic fatigue, she thinks I get very little sleep each night...I'm desperate on how to figure out what this means and how to get rid of it!
Thank you :)
Super excited to see if anyone knows about this.
