My Favorite Rucurring Dream

My absolute favorite dream i ever had comes about once every year. Im not in controll of this dream in anyway but it is definately the best i have ever felt. It starts in front of my house on the warmest day of summer. It is bright outside and a nice breeze is blowing by, i guess that my perfect day.

There are no cars on my street that I am standing in the middle of. I look down my block and start to walk. I jump, it feels go so i jump again, a little higher this time. I run when I hit the ground and jump again, realy high this time near the top of the trees on my block. My third jump is always directly over the block next to mine right near the tops of trees, and i get that hang time feeling like weightlessness when your on a roller coaster. The forth jump is best though, and i know when its coming. I jump straight up in the air right in front of my friends house two blocks down and i just stay up for a while. I float, i know im not flying cuz i come back down but i stay in the air, above the clouds floating for a while. I love how the sun feels. I have my eyes closed but i can see my town under my feet, every street every house. When i touch back down on the ground i usually wake up, and i always wake up with a smile after that dream.

Well I've got this dream that happens once a year where I'm in this massive valley surrounded by really steep, thickly wooded hills. To get an idea of how huge they are, I'll say they're usually stretching into the clouds. Embedded in the hills are a very complex network of stone tunnels built by some ancient people as a sort of temple, which I've only entered once.

The base of the valley is covered in a deep kind of marsh with man-sized lillie pads and I'm usually gliding quietly along the water (which is pitch black) in one of those boats propelled by a big fan at the back.

There's the occassional huge statue half buried in the hill or collapsed along one of the sandy beaches bordering the marsh.

The whole place is pervaded by a deeply calming and at times unsettling silence.

The dream is the reason I want to become lucid.

Right....

I don't have recurring dreams, but I have had about 5 dreams about skiing in the last 7 or so dreams that I've had, which I think is a bit freaky

I have these joyous dreams where I'm watching birds on a beautiful sunny. The birds are incredibly colorful, graceful, and unlike any birds I've ever seen IRL. They descend in waves into the trees and crawl through the vegetation. It feels like I'm discovering a new planet or something.

I don't have recurring dreams, each dream I have is unique.

I don't get recurring dreams, but I do have recurring dreamscapes.

One of my favorites is the beach house I used to goto, every time I dream it, it has new rooms and new flights of decks, also I can goto the beach and it's just really nice.

Another I have is a modified version of a mall I used to go to, why a mall... I'll never know, but I usually just hang out there.

Weirdest, recurring dream which actually got me a little paranoid in real life was one I used to have when I was in high school.. I had it 4 times, once a year. This was a dream where I'd be in the theatre of the school and the teachers were trying to brainwash us, so I and a few friends escaped outside... every time the same situation escaping, except the one guy Neil who made it out with me the first year stayed out and didn't have to escape again with me.

Wow Riff, I'm not sure what to say to that :? . IK don't get that many reccuring dreams but there is a reccuring theme i get occasionaly, in which there are demons in my house and i am scared of hem. It always seem to be in a panic when i wake up.
