Recurring Things?
I don't really have recurring dreams, but recurring themes that will come into my dreams and I'll remember that I dreamed about it a long time ago.
An example:
A couple nights ago, I dreamed about this roller coaster that you could die in. It was like a ship-type ride, like Pirates of the Carribean from Disney World.
However, when I woke up, I realized that I've had a dream about the roller coaster before.
This wasn't the same dream, but it was the same roller coaster.
Anyone else have this happen to them?
And if this is in the wrong place, I'm sorry.

Absolutely, this can be very common.

I have these lot of times. So often, that much of the times I think it's a deja vu. Or something that happened to me in real life. Sometimes my brain gets really fu**** up when I get dream like that.

Yeah, I agree, Shark Rider. And I usually don't realize that it had a recurring object until later on, upon realization, I trip up.

Well, reoccuring things/themes can be your dream signs. Your personal signs that you collect from looking through your dreams (why journaling is important) and use to trigger a reality check.
But aside from recurring things in dreams, I once had a dream that was the exact copy of a dream I had before. I know that if I were to dig through my collection of past dream journals, I'd find the first one, though I didn't bother doing so when I had the second identical dream since I knew that I had it before.

Yes but now I wonder whether I just dream that I've dreamed it before. If you see what I mean.
