Recurring DISTURBIGN nightmares (help Please!) :*(
Lately I've been getting a lot of strange nightmares, mostly involving zombies. In one of my nightmares, I was inside a Maths classroom speaking with the School principal. I remember saying, "You won't let THEM come here, will you miss?" while a zombie outbreak was occuring in our local high school. I remember running to the other classroom, my mind was in a frenzy with fear and desperation, and seeing the other class, whom all appeared oblivious. Their teacher though, was acting rather odd and moved awkwardly in her seat. I ran back to my classroom in a panic and sat down in my seat. Almost immediately, the other teacher ran to to our room and said, "Sorry.. I had to get a marker." Her face was SCARY and I yelled, "it's ONE OF THEM!!" The teacher at that point transformed into a zombie and the whole class divided into two rows, pulling their chairs and tables back and the reality of the situation (ironic) set in... and then, I WOKE UP!
One thing I'm noticing with my nightmares is that they never have closure. There isn't an ending. I wake up during the 'storyline' of the events, and don't know what happens from that point.
The latest nightmare I had: I found myself in an unfamiliar classroom with a new Visual Arts teacher. The class was working on a project and I remember using a big mattress as one of my materials (or was it the major piece?)
Then I remember going into a hotel. Oddly enough, they had public toilets inside on the first floor along with shower cubicles which were freely available and easily accessible. I remember there was a trail of stairs that led somewhere... I remember walking outside the hotel because I found it too creepy as there were strange old people in it.. and I felt uneasy and scared.. The last thing I remember in this segment was walking out the building and being handed a pamphlet (which I thought looked like a Proactiv ad)
THEN! I woke up from the dream.. all of a sudden.. and saw the back of my mother placing some food on the table then shutting the door, and I went back to sleep..
THIS TIME I went back to the nightmare, except! I was in a different environment - I was inside a dark, dampened house with strangers I did not know. Somehow I had ended up here and accompanied these people to their house.. It was a big family and these two parents seemed very friendly to me.. they had a 7 or 8 year old daughter and 3 or 5 year old son... later the other relatives were beginning to act very strange and I felt like I wanted to GET OUT of there.. but I saw the daughter walking into the toilet, which was also occupied by her uncle (?) and closing the door behind her. I heard a loud scream coming from the toilet and I informed the parents. They rushed into it, and took the girl away. I don't know what happened to her. I found myself very uncomfortable in the house, but didn't leave for some reason. Later, I remember being horrified after the parents KILLING their children and EATING them. I was so frightened I said nothing. I realised these people were very dangerous so I pretended to play along. I was even on the bed with the mother calling her 'mum' and asking her to spare my life.
The next thing I knew, I was outside the house, only this time in a different house, unoccupied and alone. I had never been so scared in my life, and picked up my mobile, calling one of my Art teachers, I remember telling her, "What I'm about to tell you is very sensitive information, you have to help me" and her reaction wasn't what I was expecting. It was like she didn't know whether to believe me, because it sounded so far-fetched. Eventually the phone on the other end hung up suddenly, and I was increasingly tense. I tried to call '000' which is the emergency number in Australia, but for some reason the pad kept coming up as 9999111999 and I didn't know what I was doing.. maybe I was too frightened and out of it and got confused.. anyway, I FINALLY managed to call the number, only to WAKE UP from my nightmare before the other end of the phone picked up..
A premature ending to a nightmare. No Closure. What does it all mean? :(
Oh, and to clarify, it wasn't a lucid dream. I honestly felt like I was living reality.
