Reoccuring Nightmare

I haven't had a good nights sleep in about 3 weeks now due to nightmares. I use to be great at lucid dreaming, I could pull it off any night I wanted to. Yet now, it feels like I have no control of it anymore, I'll wake up during the night at least two times due to a nightmare going tragic.

This last one, was the most violent in the sense it was very reddish. Most my dreams nightmares stem from the unknown, or darkness and confusion. This dream, was actually very realistic to a sense, that nothing moved out of character there wasn't weird dogs flying, or sheep popping out from orange trees.

I woke up, in my dream of course, and saw it was around 5:00, I looked outside and saw a beautiful red sunset, which actually was kind of unsettlingly in the way it looks. So, I sit there watching it, and then I hear a plane fly over, and suddenly an explosion. Looking up at the plane, it was nose diving right into my street, the explosion was some chunk of it flying off taking a good part of the next door neighbors house.

The plane comes down into a house 3 doors down. I decide to run and see what I can do to help, if anything at that point. So I run for the fence preparing the jump it, then my step father comes out and tackles me to the ground screaming at me saying I wasn't allowed to go anywhere.

Then he smacks me in the chest to stop my struggling and drags me back to the side gate. He picks me up and slams me against the fence, punches me in the face and shouts "What the hell is your problem? I'm sick and tired of you disrespecting me at every turn." With a LOT more vulgarities in there, just don't think I'm aloud to spout them on here.

He then throws me against the porch popping something in my back. My neck explodes in pain, I look behind him and see the reddish sky being blocked by the entrails of smoke, and fire spreading to the neighboring houses.

I see another part of the plane shoot above him, completely smearing a cat on the road. He screams at me "Get the hell up." Again a lot of explicits.

I try to get up, and manage to get into some sort of hunched crouch, he picks me up by the neck, and punches the wind out of me. He shouts "You think someone is going to save you? Who the hell would want to save pitiful trash like you."

I try getting up to run, but I can't move more than a few pained crawl steps. He then shouts at me "Oh, you think you're going to run from me? Oh just you wait you'll regret having done that real soon."

He goes into the house, and I try to run away anywhere, I stand up only to double over in stomache and back pain. I try to crouch run somewhere, just to hide. After doing all this, I made only a few feet, before he comes back with a bat. Shouts at me saying "Go on, Run. I dare you to try." So I try to stand up in a panic and he grabs the bat and smashes my leg in, bone popping out, blood everywhere, explosion of pain. I scream, he says "I thought I told you only to talk when spoken to."

Grabs the bat, smashes away my arm that was supporting me, now it's at some funky angle with more pain. He grabs the bat, ready to make the final strike when the police and fire department show up for the airplane. The cops draw their guns, and tell him to freeze seeing the scene before them.

He, takes another swing at my head, cracking the skull, The world grows fuzzy, I see blood drizzling down the driveway. They start open firing, he runs into the house in some contorted stride. Then, I wake up after the world went black in the real world.

I'm pretty sure since it was such a calm ending when I woke up because I was still having a little bit of sleep paralysis... I think, because as soon as I woke up, I heard as if coming from the dream.

"It's not over yet you piece of crap." Or something to that end. I looked at the clock in real life, it was 3:00, I grabbed some orange juice and fell back asleep after calming my nerves.
