ERGO absolute truth exists...
While this seems to be obvious and correct, the mathematician Kurt Godel proved otherwise in his Incompleteness Theorem. The basic conclusion to this theorem is that "nothing can ever be proven true or false based on a fixed set of axioms."

Also, I think that the goal of science is to make the world easier to predict based on mathematical models, not to find any "truths". In fact, quantum mechanics is entirely probabilistic, which contradicts Newton's deterministic laws of gravity and forces.
