Second thought experiment

sloth's mistreated child lives in a box. He is fourty-twelve years old. He has lived in this box since the moment he was born. This box is painted black. Scotch taped to the side of this box there is a flat screen television. On this flat screen television, various television programs, movies, and news programs are played... backwards. If I let him out of his box today, will the world make sense to him? How would viewing fourty-twelve years of reversed reality affect his perception? What do you think?

Do you mean from a cultural standpoint or from a scientific standpoint? Either way no, you can't really understand something on any level of depth just from watching it on tv. It might be able to provide some basis on which he could slowly adjust to living in society. Wait, I just noticed the backwords part, ummm what was the point of this thread, attention whoring? Plenty of normal people are delusional and disconected from reality, how would you expect this guy to do?
