my theorys of life and dreaming

okay so tonight my mind is pondering on some thoughts and i wish to share them okay so erm i just broke up with my girlfriend right and yeah it has been very hard but i have stayed positive . i have seen so much beauty in the world even in the rain if you look up when its falling it seems so amazing, it has a purpose and i think that's what people need in life, a purpose it keeps you going, if you feel you have no purpose then you fall into a hole of what seems like chaos but you mearly have to look into the stars to see such unexplained beauty, it ac-cured to me one day that if you cant find a purpose maybe your purpose is just to live you know, why do we need to work and impress people when being yourself is so difficult you don't is the answer you can say no to everyday trouble and relax meditate and connect to the planet and relise how we are hurting it you can take purpose in healing the planet with your thoughts and energies. onto the subject of dreaming it is indeed an escape its another totally bizarre and beautiful world of pure imagination but i belive that everyone is connected and it is possible that we are all connected in our dreams but we don't realise it so we feel like it is our own world fabricated by our own mind which is why it feels so much less intense anyway i shall end here as i cant put any more of my thoughts into words peacefull dreaming everyone

      Welcome to Dream Views, rainbowchild.

*Moved to Philosophy* (The ideas are a little all over the place, and there a few suitiable places I could have moved it, but I figure your topic is mostly philosophical.)

      Your purpose, is to learn.

This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

Welcome to the human condition. A long strife of attempting to find purpose while eventually accepting that beyond our biological constitution and confluences which can only suggest that survival is our innate purpose, there is no "purpose" in life. Your purpose, estranged and confused person, is to survive. Our every changing social environment and your DNA will get to decide whether or not you fulfill it.

As you sit in your chair, in sentimental shock, try not to grief or wonder for too long, it is rather pointless. Once you recover your stability, you will go back to perfecting yourself to survive and ultimately reach a condition most favorable for reproducing. Enjoy the probabilistic theory that guides your impulses and I wish you the best of luck.

I have seen so much beauty in the world, even in the rain if you look up when it's falling, it seems so amazing! It has a purpose and I think that's what people need in life, a purpose.... it keeps you going.

If you feel you have no purpose then you fall in to a hole of what seems like chaos. But you merely have to look in to the stars to see such unexplained beauty....
It occurred to me one day that if you can't find a purpose, maybe your purpose is just to live, you know?
Why do we need to work and impress people when being yourself is so difficult?
      You don't, is the answer.

You can say "no" to everyday trouble and relax, meditate and connect to the planet and realise how we are hurting it.
You can take purpose in healing the planet with your thoughts and energies.

Onto the subject of dreaming.... it is indeed an escape. It's another totally bizarre and beautiful world of pure imagination.
But I believe that everyone is connected and it is possible that we are all connected in our dreams, but we don't realise it so we feel like it is our own world fabricated by our own mind.
Which is why it feels so much less intense.

Anyway, I shall end here as I can't put any more of my thoughts in to words.

      Peaceful dreaming everyone!
Can't believe I just did that.
It was aggravating the shit out of me to read. But I think the message is great.

Wait - so - you're saying the idea that there's no purpose to life but survival is psychobabble?

Psychobabble is the way in which one presents their idea; not the idea itself. Using large words and phrases to make their idea sound profound or groundbreaking when really it's quite mundane. Waking Life is a great example of pseudointellectual psychobabble.

What is pseudointellectual psychobabble about "waking life"?

Personally I think "waking life" is a great term to use in distinguishing one's waking experiences from dreaming experiences. The term "real life" would imply that waking is real and dreaming is not real, which is not something everyone agrees with.

And hominids have only been around for 100,000 years

It's still a good movie though.

See how purpose has been created in moments around the world due to this post, it may not seem like much but some one has taken to the extent of correcting my terrible grammar (thank you by the way),giving a purpose to a moment in there life, i think its rather cool how we co create in each others realities, our realities have merged together and resulted in this conversation, "universal synchronicity".

A year or two has passed since i wrote this and wow has my reality been blown into the void spat out the other end and reformulated into something quite beautiful, i think what i was trying to say in this post, was you can create so much more in your life than you are lead to believe, our lives are so full of illusion that we have forgot we are the ones in control of our lives, we are the ones that take up the task of healing this world no one else is going to do it for us.............

If i have learned anything in the past few years since i posted this, its that our lives are defined by our perception of it if we wish to perceive our reality as this big bad predicament with media, tv politics at the forefront where we are subjected to so much shit that we begin to get taken away from what is real, our planet in all its magnificence if we focus on healing the planet and love instead of this devolved perception that we are separate and celebrities are better than us etc...... then we can actually evolve as consciousness and achieve our full potential as being of the universe...................
