Thread: 2 + 2 = 5!!!

Let's vote on whom has the best answer

Damn , someones already done something similar to this , but ill put it up anyway .
Okay , heres my attempt .

I have created my own numbering system , its of a base 9 , or there are nine numbers that make up the system before it goes into double digits .

The numbering system is this -

1 , 2 , 3 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 0 .

Okay , so using my unique numbering system i call Nofours , i will prove to you that 2+2=5

I will use a number line to explain how

Then i added 2 more to my position. Which brings me to here -

|----|----|----|----|

So there you go , 2+2=5 using the unique Nofours numbering system .

Cool, so 2+2 can equal 5. The next time my maths teachers says i've got a question wrong i shove that up their ass!

It is implied that 2 + 2 = 5 is in the base 10 (it's 10 right?) number system

Well , you did not state the rules of the game , therefore i assumed it was open slather , you see where im coming from ? The whole purpose of the game is to think outside the square , and surely that includes the numbering system as a whole .

My opinion: what you did was perfectly legal, and a very good explanation
