Wow, it's unbelievable how different you and I are. We aren't on the same page, in the same chapter, even in the same book. We're speaking completely different and independent languages.

Just try to understand(I'm kidding, I'm sure you do). It may sound like new age mouth-offing, and I myself was laughing while reading it. But it's poetic. In layman terms, it basically is "think positive, and you will be happy" that's it. you could complicate it more, if you wanna have fun, but that's already been done. It's the vast terminology that makes it sink in better.

Rev, lemme just say something -- well, a few somethings --, and try to at least consider it, okay?

The real truth need not be pressed, insisted upon, spoken about loudly and long-windedly; one can decipher falsehoods from their tremendous force.

The real truth veritably mimics untruth to protect itself from predators, like some insects mimic bees and wasps, or even the bark of trees. Those whose vision is not trained will without question call it a lie.

Hints to bigger things are everywhere, but your heart must have the scent, or you will never catch them.

Contrary to carnal understandings the “Truth” needs not protect it’s self, for there is no weapon form against it, which shall prosper. Only human ignorance would assume it is in need of protection, and if so, from whom does it need protection? Man?

P.S. If anything the falsehood is what mimics the “truth”, and not the other way around.

P.S.S. The need to mimic as would an insect implies there is a great power, or predator to protect itself from. There is no greater power that the “Truth!”

I've also believed strongly that truth need not protect itself, which is why I don't try to defend it or push it. I ultimately admit I don't really know the truth, but what I choose to believe is the best that I have.

But although every human may have intellectual disagreements, our very beings have unspoken knowledge about what is ultimately true about the universe. Which is only possible to see once attachments and aversions are put aside.

Then you are only contradicting yourself. I was supporting what you had said, and you went back on it. You think you are so smart, Rev, then pay attention to detail.

And I don't fall for anything. I'm potential to believe in anything, but I will not have enough time in my life to believe in everything. I test everything. Sometimes, you have to reinvent the wheel if something is suspicious, like religion. No matter what you say, whatever people currently stand for is something that have already fallen for.

O' my there was no intention to insult any one. I was only saying that if we are not willing to present the truth to others than those who will not hear the truth through our presentation would fall for anything which is presented to them.

I am very sorry I was not more clear in my reply. I believe that we all have a inherent ability to share the truth through our lives.

Wow, if that's the way you are most of the time, you have a pretty encouraging spirit. I was expecting some comeback, like that of Girismyleader (although now, I don't got beef wit her)

I did take it personally, I thought my philosophy was being insulted in saying that what I said was not valid. But it's only because I'm beginning to lose faith in one single philosophy of life, losing identification with any belief, yet coming back in full circle, wondering if I should begin believing again.

I believe using truth to correct error is important. When is it not? It's just that, when it comes to uncertain issues like that of the cosmos, the best we have are personal convictions, which may or may not be true. I've learned that from particpating in too many religious debates, it's all pointless.

In the time We live in, it is so easy to lost faith,cause so many of the people we look up to have lost the sense of right and wrong. There are very few examples to live up too. I still believe in roll-models but there are so few today!
