I have two theories.
First theory: A long while ago I heard that the fundamental electronic charge may actually be 1/3 of what it currently is believed to be (1.60e-19 C)
Second theory: (1 = 1/3 imples 3 = 1) and this is true in modular arithmetic, Z2 for example (Z2 contains zero, one) It's a Boolean ring. Actually an integral domain if we want to get technical.
Edit: I hope quantumparity's answer wasn't actually correct...because 10% = 1/10 and he says that equals 1/9th. That means 10 = 9, and earlier give was 3 = 1.
9 = 3+3+3 or 9 = 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 3+1+3+... all sorts of combinations...
There are 10 different values for 9, and 11 different values for 10. This really only makes sense in modular arithmetic (Z2). I think one can imply that one equals any number (given 1 = 1/3 and 1/9 = 1/10).
Something definately is wrong.
Ooh...sarcastic 3rd theory: dattaswami says there is only one god, but the Christians have one god and two other religions have there god... so 1 = 3 and 1/3 = 1. Tada!!!
