Thread: Weather Control. (For the skeptics.)

Now one might first think great. But natures weather patterns have a purpose.
Ex:
A thunderstorm. The atmosphere is turned upside down. Hot air at ground level and cold on top. Not atmospherically correct. SO in turn the thunderstorm by feeding itself from an updraft and proceeds with the rest of the process turns in right side up.
On a large scale a hurricane does the same thing from longitude to latitude, South humid hot waters south of the equator again sucked up and driven into the upper regions. Causing stability.
There are casualties to weather events But I proclaim you don't try and change them but rather change us.
Don't build a city in a hurricane prone area (below sea level)
Don't builds your house next to a river.
Don't be surprised at a tornado if you live in tornado ally.
Not all real big surprises to me.

We have a pretty bad track record performing a forecast for any particular and secular region. And we have the audacity to think we can manipulate how the weather will react to not only a current event much less future complications.

The military. Again no big surprise they do things we will never know about and don't want to. Who knows how much they have fucked the weather up already.

Hard times do fall upon regions do to weather. It is an ongoing cycle that I feel is meant to lead its coarse. It is a NATURAL disaster.
Of coarse the more populated the earth becomes the more evident that problems arise across the board.

But on a twisted note What if you were to drop a hydrogen bomb in the eye of a hurricane. ...That would be a site to see.

I'm with you, Howetzer. I think the weather is just one of those things that we shouldn't mess with. It's one thing to not take into account the less obvious consequences on fooling with something like say....cloning? But when it comes to the weather, is it not common sense that the weather is a self-sustaining system, and that artificial interaction is damn near inviting a catastrophic consequence?
You can't expect to fuck up your diet without affecting your body's physiology, if that's a suitable analogy, and an unhealthy physiology can often lead to death. In this way, (and others) I'm not sure if the planet is that much different than us.

But...obviously it's been something that's been talked about for longer than we've been talking about it.

I heard on the Discovery channel that anything the public heres about reconnaissance missions or research that the government is approx. 10 years ahead of that.
Sounds absurd, but it does not seem that the Discovery Channel would relay false info.

How much have they already done?
I guess the advent of the Doppler radar has helped us in a good way. And there are other things that are advantageous to us too. To look on the bright side of tech. & meteorology.

Doesn't sound absurd at all. I heard 20 years, and it makes a lot of sense, to me, considering that it takes 20 years to declassify classified governmental information.
