Yep. But even when I'm sober, I think those thoughts. |

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.
Actually this Topic, ''Odd MindBlowing thoughts'' brought back an old old memory of the most MindBlowing thoughts I once had. |

that is a whacky thought. i've never looked at it like that. |

Infinity is a mindblowing thought. At first it sounds simple enough, it just goes on forever. But it's not that simple. Imagine that you have a row of infinite blue boxes, except one is red. If you pick a box at random, what are the chances of picking the red one? If you had a hundred red boxes, or a million, or a googol, but still infinite blue boxes, how would that change the probability? Let's say in our row of boxes, we have red and blue boxes every other box. What I mean is, you have a blue, then a red, then a blue, then a red..., forever. What are your chances of picking a red? 1 in 2 right? What if every third box is red? One in 3? If every millionth box is red? But you have infinitely many of both blue and red. Shouldn't that mean that there are equal probabilities? Lets say you start walking at the beginning of the infinite row of boxes with only one red one and infinite blue ones, and you have infinite time to do it. You will eventually find the red one right? Lets say the row is not infinite, and it will take a year to walk through it all. Within the first day, you have a 1/365 chance of seeing the red one. In the first month, a 1/12 chance. But in an infinite row, even if you have infinitely long to walk it, when you actually do find it has to be at a specific point of time. After a day, what are your chances? After a year, an eon? Do your chances improve? If so, how is that possible when they are the same compared to infinity? If not, then how will you ever find the box since the chance of finding it in a googol eons is the same as finding it in the first minute? I think I'm really confusing right now, but I think you get the picture. |

We don't and never will. Unless we become some sort of God. |

What was before the universe? If it was nothing, what does nothing look like? And how was the universe created from nothing? |

The fact that we'll never know what our parents were truly like when they were younger and up to no good. I mean, you can hear stories about them, you can hear about what they were like, but it doesn't give you the satisfaction of knowing their younger, immature self. What I would give to meet my dad when he was 16. |

I know this is at a much shallower perspective, but it blows my mind every time I think about moving. Like, when you walk, it's so automatic. You just think you wanna go there and you go, you don't actually have to focus on the muscles or anything. It just is trippy thinking about all the processes going on you're controlling on this extra high level. |

Stuck somewhere in a place between here and there
actually there is an end, because your fingers will eventually touch, but i know what you are getting at. Even if the fingers and .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000001 cm apart you can still go closer. |

Wow, i was coming here to say the exact same thing, strange as i have been watching this post for a while now and just got the thought of that last night and came here and saw you posted |

Something very mind blowing is the fact that an explosion in a void can result in a spark that burns out and forms a primordial ooze that has goo in it that grows into things that invent computers and have conversations like this one. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
Without ever touching still. You can, well Obviously , make your 2 fingers touch. But if you want to you can keep moving them closer and closer...and basically never touch because the space in bewteen the 2 objects is Infinite, as is outward space in the Universe. |
