Thread: Is It Possible That We Are Dcs?

There are a lot of different beliefs that imply this is a big dream. If it is then, we are DCs. But who's dreaming? Does he/she/it thinks we are not real people as some people here think about their DCs. Frightening thought.

In a way it is possible. In a way everything is possible. Our universe could be just a proton of another universe. Or even be a proton of itself. The point is that once you are outside of the laws of our reality, there is no telling what is possible. We could be DC's. We could be in a matrix. However as long as there isn't a single way of telling it really doesn't matter. As long as our reality stays 'correct' and isn't breached by influences from outside it, it is much more conveniant to just draw a line around our universe (or our reality) and say: This is all.

Ofcourse there Might be more, and I am quite sure there is, but it doesn't influence us, so it doesn't matter at all. Unless ofcourse you have an intresting discussion about it. About what it could be.

Personally I think there are more universes. Only depends on your definition. One second ago was a different universe than the universe of 'now'.

Yeah, actually you are all my DC's, and I'm dreaming. It's a pretty boring dream that's been going on for a couple of billions upon billions of years, but I've been trying to make it interesting by, say, KILLING YOUR DOG!!!!!!!

Maby your whole life time has been a dream and when you wake up and go back to sleep you will have a whole other life time of dreaming

It doesn't matter if we're DCs or not.

The fact that we are concious, and here for the experience, is all that matters.

Anything is possible, nobody has really come up with a definitive answer yet just what conciousness is. However, with my computer background, if we are indeed DCs in someone elses dream, I wonder if we could get into an infinite loop.

Person 'A' is a DC for person 'B'
Person 'B' is a DC for person 'C'
Person 'C' is a DC for person 'A'....

Haha, it would be funny if our lives as we know them really have been dreams and when we wake up we're all, "WHAT THE HELL? How come I was discussing the fact that I might be dreaming with a couple of DCs on a forum dedicated to lucid dreaming and I didn't go lucid??"

Haha, I could see that happening. I heard that there is other universes outside of our own, and they're like on different dimensions, and there's gateways between them to theoretically we could travel to different ones. I always wondered if there are other life forms out there that wonder if they're alone, and if they're looking for something like us.

For some reason the fact that these other life forms don't speak any of the same languages as us just completely blew my mind.

I don't know, I guess I already think of people on Earth as a pretty damn diverse bunch and the possibility of all these other life forms opens up all these other variables. It's just weird (and I'm not putting my thoughts into words very well.)

I've thought about this a good deal over the past few years. I've come to the conclusion that if I am a DC, it doesn't really matter. It's just as real as anything else.

if what we call - or well, what man call "reality" - was his perspection (" " dream " ") and there was no "objective" reality?
