Alright, meters is a form of measurement for the first dimension.
meters squared (m^2) is second dimension and m^3 is third dimension
Assuming that time is a measurement of the fourth dimension, would it be possible to measure seconds in m^4? Then, building on that... If you divided time by a distance, would you get a volume?
Wouldn't you get a measurement of time? Time over a distance is still time over a number, and would therefore give a fraction of the time.
Although I have no idea of the mathematics involved in calculating time over a distance, so I'm not certain. :D
Is time increasing or decreasing as you increase distance, or is it subjective?
If time were considered a dimension, you would measure in "m^3*s", not in "m^4".
Also, there is no such thing as "THE" 4th dimension. It's pretty arbitrary how you define it. In fact, I think the 4th dimension should be temperature. The 5th, 6th and 7th should be red, green and blue respectively (i.e. colour). Then the 8th dimension could be time... but it doesn't really mean much...
