      Bringing back the dead

I was thinking what if our brains had flash memory? If we died all our memories would still be present. That's when I can to the realization that we do, at least biologically as in the brain cells.

Just at first glance it would seem it would be possible to bring back the dead providing we know how memories are shaped. Isn't a person's mind the sum collection of all their memories and experiences?

These questions present the problem as to whether or not they would be the same people. From their viewpoint they have died and ceased to know anything including their revival, while the recovered person will have memories of before. Is a person's consciousness a one time gift?

      Tell me your thoughts.

Ask yourself. If you make two identical people, will they only have one collective consciousness? If the environment was the same then it would seem so, you couldn't really tell. If you changed the environment then they wouldn't be identical people anymore (different thoughts, different composition, chemicals, reactions etc.) So I'm stuck here.

The fact is that a soul can't really be proven. Scientifically we are the result of brain activity and that is us. Do the processes in the brain have to be the same to keep you as a consciousness alive? If they are not the same (for example if you think differently) you die. What I conclude is that consciousness is like a mathematical point. Infinitely short. So it's like life, made up of infinitely short moments.

I'm just thinking out loud, so don't kill me. Sorry if you don't understand and please criticize if you do

Yes, it would work but the person would probably suffer from disorientation and identity issues along with other mental conditions caused by a sudden change of body and environment.
