      what is not...
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Not well defined. Dream stretches into sleep paralysis, hallucinations, and even blends into visualised pathworking meditation and day dreams.

      Pyrofan pretty much wins here.

Anyway, a dream in lower animals is most likely a method of memory consolidation in which the brain releases chemicals to mimic the senses. In higher animals, desire is introduced into the dream for emotional and other higher brain purposes (pesky higher brain. Always complicates things. Makes people look into something much farther than required. No double meaning here at all).

How does a person experience something outside of their waking self? Like seeing a UFO in a dream?

Can it not be just a separate independent reality altogether? On the forum, it is discussed that people experience a "shared dream"; doesn't this confirm the "separate independent reality" theory?

If it is indeed separate, how do you exploit it? Use it?

10 replies and no one posted the dictionary.com definition of a dream? Scary. Impressive, but scary.

I think the wikipedia response has about the same effect.
