That would be pretty cool. Who knows what we could find out from that. It would probably revolutionize modern science.

20 miles . That's a big particle accelerator. Near light speed is no laughing matter (pun intended ) either .

That would be pretty interesting. I've always wondered what forces all matter and energy to follow the laws of physics, and maybe this is the answer.

I thought this was interesting too. The only application I see for humans in the near future will be the harnassing of fusion as a power source.

I'm not 100% sure, but as far as I know, fission is the only form of nuclear power that's harnassed in anything other than a bomb. From what I read, fusion is way better in many ways compared to fission.

It would be sick if some scientists could fuck around and make a mini sun just like in spider man.

I'm hoping the benefits will be far greater than just a new energy source

that sounds amazing,i too would love to see the results. it would indeed revolutionise science,the possibilities....
but it still might be wishful thinking that this particle exists,only time will tell...

Wishful thinking is a gamble, but if we don't take the chance, we die of overconsumption of non-renewable sources of energy!

If this particle really gives us a new understanding of matter and the universe, then perhaps it won't be so long to learn how to practically manipulate it...bend the universe, lower or increase density, pull energy of of nothing, etc.
