What do you all believe is the human condition? Why is it? How is it? Does it exist?
Do you all believe suffering is real? If so, how, if at all, is love related to it?
And finally, does sex have anything to do with the human condition and love?

The human condition is the conditioning brought about by being human. Conditioning to what? Spirit of course! It is real only while one is identifying with the human conditions, which are not permanent, but inherent.
Suffering is part of the human condition, because there is duality and limited understanding of happiness. Love is not related to suffering in any other way apart from through its denial. Suffering is only real if we do not know it is an illusion.
Sex is part of the human condition, naturally. Though people sometimes think personal love is real love - which is actually unconditional and everlasting. If there is any love in sex, it is personal, if that lasts forever, it is truly from the heart. Love does not hurt, only its absence may hurt.
Really, what on earth will you do when you are enlightened? When you have reached the highest possible state of human consciousness? When you are centred in the void of meditation/zen/chan and move to the ego instead of vice versa?
Who and what will you be?
What are you now?
Duality? Non-duality?
These are concepts from expression, which exists with all motion including this, and there is no differentiating between motion and non-motion too.
You understand, and even the very act of misunderstanding is understanding.

It pretty much depends on how you define 'the human condition'. I mean, what do you want the term to 'cover'? I could list some things about how humans 'naturally' 'work', from an evolutionary perspective.
I don't really see what you are getting at. I mean, humans just live. We are a kind of animal. Luckily a kind that can fill in it's own life to a great extend. But animals nonetheless. Just living, reproducing and dying.
Suffering is as real as it seems. I mean, that is all it is. Hit your toe, and it sucks. That's all there is to it. Being a starving kid in Africa with AIDS probably is a worse kind of suffering. I mean, why wouldn't it exist? 'Suffering' or whatever is just something humans feel. You can be pretty certain of that, because probably you feel a form of suffering every now and then too.
Love is just a process in the brain, which makes you feel awesome and shit. It still can be a great addition and purpose in your life, of course. Little more to say about it. It isn't something 'magical' (even if it "feels" like that, or whatever.)
Sex is just awesome. It's pretty logical why people like it from an evolutionary perspective. But with our modern-day mind sets, it doesn't 'serve' it's evolutionary 'purpose' anymore, but it's awesomeness remains. And sometimes it goes well with love, so I heard.
Relatively.
Understandings bring happiness, misunderstandings are frustration/confusions.
Yet the constant, that all existence and else remains mystery.
A rose, is a rose, is a rose.
You may question, you may appreciate, you may run and cry and laugh.
Self-effulgent, Self-radiant, Self-knowing, Self-evident, Self-fulfilling!
What is constant?
Self! :laughtillhurts:
And when I am not Self, just ?
Do any of you view life existentially?
Exactly how do you mean that? Do you mean to ask whether we view life according to one form of existentialist philosophy? They're all very varied... or do you mean to ask whether we think that it is our existence/life that gives us meaning?Quote:

My previous post shows the foolishness of assumptions and borrowed knowledge.
I don't know how close this one comes, though I am conscious I am typing it, and aware it will have an effect.
