Yes, it's a repost.
I'll just say what I said last time. How is that funny? It's like the author tried really hard to "shine a sarcastic light on human nature" but it just ends up being an utterly simplistic failed attempt at observational misanthropy. The guy who made that probably has the largest metal rod up his ass. F.
This is a prime example of good observational humor:
the dudes voice reminds me of the guy from loose change. Both equally annoying.
No, it's not funny (is it supposed to be?), but it's true.
Well, it's not true. For one, humans aren't monkeys but apes and even so, the more common non-taxonomic sense of the words ape and monkey is non-human ape/monkey.
But the video obviously considers us intelligent enough to make the monkey analogy. If the video was so wrong, I would expect some "deeper subject" presented in the video, to be refuted first. Not some semantics.
You cant argue a deeper subject when there was nothing deep about the video. All he did was describe many human's actions and replaced human with monkey. He doesnt even get creative points for that.
I never said that there was anything deep about it.
The simplicity of the video is what made it pleasant. But the Tom Green video was actually funnier.
Monkey Hives!
